J.D. Floor Store replaced our upstairs flooring. They were always on time and they exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy with them.

Worst

These guys came on with an excellant sales pitch, made claims and promises to get the sale, then delivered mediocre results. I had a call back to get some very visible seams fixed...

A++++ 10/25/2010

JDFS did a complete installation of carpet and hardwoods in our 20 year old town home. Through the entire process John and his team were top-notch. Even went the extra mile for certain areas where they put in about 300 screws in our upstairs floor boards to quiet down the squeaky footsteps. Excellent prices, if you're thinking about doing your floors, then look no further. more

EXCELLENT CRAFTSMANSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE 10/25/2010

Great job John and his crew did a great job of both refinishing existing heart pine flooring and some related repairs and installing new Brazilian Koa floors in a house I renovated. John had to make special transitions due to the different levels of floor in the old house. I've received many positive comments on the floors. I have recommended JD Hardwood Flooring to others. more

Most complete hardwood flooring contractors around. 10/22/2010

We have used J.D. Floor Store twice. They tore out our carpets and put in hardwood floors throughout the whole house. The installation was very smooth, other than the fact we had to move the all the furniture which was more troublesome than we thought. What they did for us was wonderful. J.D. Floor Store worked very well with us, and we were happy. They made sure everything was completed and done properly. They also included everything in their price, including molding and placing the paper underneath. Everyone else we talked to charged extra for things like that. Even including that, J.D. Floors was more price competitive. They were fast, professional, and efficient. more

Beautiful Hardwood Floors! 10/5/2010

JD Hardwoods installed prefinished engineered Oak flooring throughout our home in January 2010. We are extremely pleased with the results. The floors are beautiful, easy to maintain and add a dimension to our home which we did not have prior to installation. Their sales manager, Josh, was extremely helpful in making our choice. The installation team did a great job in laying the floors in one day, and their follow up is excellent. John Daniel, the owner, is very hands on, addressing any questions or concerns personally. Overall, we highly recommend JD Floor Store to anyone interested in installing hardwood flooring. more

J.D. Floors is the most professional company I have ever dealt with. 9/27/2010

J.D. Floors replaced every single floor in our house. We started in May, and they were finished in August. They have done hardwood, tiling, and carpeting. At all times the customer service was better than any I have ever seen before. The workmanship was great. They got there when they said they would, and finished when they told me it would be done. They always left my house clean. After they did all the hardwood floors they actually brought a cleaning service to the house. J.D. Floors is topnotch. I have already recommended them to a number of people. I found out about them when they were opening their new location and left a flier in my mailbox. I have not regretted using them. They did a wonderful job. more

Topnotch; everything went great. 9/27/2010

We have had good experiences with J.D. Floor Store, and we have used them more than once. They do everything I ask them, and it has turned out great. We have recommended them to several people. They did a portion of the upstairs hardwood floor. It was not a pre-finished floor, so they had to finish it on site. They were there 3 days, and we were very happy with the outcome. During the entire time building our house from top to bottom, it was the easiest and nicest experience we had. J.D. Floor Store also did the downstairs in the same way. It was over concrete, and I wanted something not traditionally put over concrete. They told me there might be some problems, and there were, but they came back several times until they finally got it right. He was great about making sure everything was finished correctly. We used them a third time as well to put some carpet down. They really are top notch, and everything went great. more

Loved the customer service experience! 9/24/2010

I worked with J.D. directly and he was *more* than accommodating. Work was as quoted. Crew was very friendly and hard-working (they skipped lunch most days!). J.D. and team even came out to correct two issues (one was even my mistake!) well after I had made the final payment. Excellent customer service! I cannot recommend them enough. :) more

I would recommend JD and his crew to anyone. They are very professional, provide reliable estimates and deliver what they promise. I have recommended them to many of my clients when they buy a new home or investment property. JD Floor Store also offers environmentally friendlier lines as well, which I really like. more

Best decision I could have made! 9/13/2010

I needed carpet for a basement apartment. Not only did JD Flooring find the right carpet for me, the gave me an awesome price. Little did i know the person who helped me with the delivery of the carpet was the owner of the company! If you have flooring needs, you would be doing yourself a tremendous favor to check these folks out! Their knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you meet all of your flooring needs. I will be a repeat customer. more

JD Hardwood flooring 4/8/2010

I was having difficulty finding the correct stain color to use in our home.. I was trying to match the existing wood tones. After finding JD Hardwood flooring, the owner John brought his staff to my home and stayed for over 2 hours mixing different stain colors together to come up with the right match. I had most rooms in the house installed with hardwood. The installers showed up and got the job done very efficiently... There must have been 10 workers here pounding away. The staining process went without a hitch and the color is beautiful, very very satisfied. The biggest advantage was that they sent over 3 women included in the price to help me dust all of the walls in the house. No matter who says that they have a 'dust free' system, they can't keep the dust down. You WILL have a house full of sawdust so what a blessing it was to have help with the clean up !! The slats have popped over the winter and quite a few have separated. This is normal the first couple of years with a new wood floor due to humidity changes. I've experienced this effect in the past. I called John a couple of months ago, he immediately came out and filled the spaces with wood filler. He said to call him again in the spring so that he can re -evaluate it and replace some of the slats if needed. I trust that he will do what he says. Very Disappointed 11/16/2009

I have worked for local builders for years in this area and had very specific flooring I wanted for my home. JD Flooring agreed to install my floors and install oak stairs... Some of the job was part of an insurance claim but the majority of it was additional work I wanted done. The expensive flooring, was mostly ""floated"", and in some places nailed down even though John assured me he could do these specific floors... he didnt know anything about the manufacturer's suggested installation. Two seperate crews did the installations, I had Ron and another guy call me to try to resolve issues during the installation like the uneven stain on my stairs and the shoe mold... so now a year later my floor pops and cracks. The most upsetting thing is I paid for the flooring separately and it was expensive and I asked repeatedly that the left over materials be left behind.... just in case. They took a case unused and 1/2 box that I had but aside when they left and promised to return, then told me I had to buy back the unused box ... and then never showed up to resolve the floor popping. Cons: didnt meet expectations more
