Java Beach Cafe

Around the corner from my house is the ultimate coffee shop. Located a block from Ocean beach out in the Sunset, it has all the great elements a coffee house needs. Location, for sure - who doesn't want to sit outside on a sunny day and read the paper as the waves crash? The coffee itself is top notch. Try Bernie's Blend for something to get you jump-started in the morning. Need internet access? check... Need a tasty sandwich? check... Like your coffee served up by nice folks who all happen to be a bunch of lookers? check... Also, they have beer! more

Java Beach is a vibrant little coffee shop which is great for meeting friends, hanging out any day of the week. The coffee is good, the food is nice, the Sub Sandwiches are delicious. The newly introduced bar has been a big hit for thos hot days. The landscaped gradens provided by local resdident across the road is a great area to sit, drink coffee and visit with friends family/ meet new friends. The staff for a while was questionable. Some of the wait staff were full of attitude and not entirely friendly or helpfull, this seems to have gotten alot better in the past year, and in general they are always polite. You never know what you might get here, last time I was there we had an impromptu burst of song by one of the locals. more
