Terrible Customer Service, 2nd Rate food at best. This place has messed up our order almost every time we try them which reminds us for a while not to use them again, but then we forget and try again (due to lack of options) and are quickly reminded why we don't order from here. Cheese tastes like rubber, delivery driver last time was rude. Owner/manager or whoever he is is rude and unhelpful. Save your money for someplace more deserving. Last time, order was wrong, overcharged and nothing but rudeness in response. We're done with this business. more

ATTENTION!!! DO NOT EAT HERE 2/10/2012

NOTE. I ONLY PUT ONE STAR DUE TO THE FACT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR ZERO STARS.\r I ordered food from jason's pizza one night for me and my wife also for 3 other people. When our food arrived we opened it up and started eating, about the 2nd bite into my philly sub i bit into somthing really hard. When I spit the food on to the plate thats when I discovered it! A HUMAN FINGER NAIL! It was a womans pressed on french manicure nail. I immediately called Jason's Pizza, to explain what happened. When I called, a man picked up which I know was the owner because him and his daughter are the only two people that work there. I was told that there was no management in and that i would have to call back tomorrow. Which i already knew it was BS because the owner was already on the phone. So to make a long story short, I went up there to speak with him in person. The only thing that he offered was to give me the money back for the one sub and he was very rude about it. He made me feel like it was my fault that his daughters finger nail ended up in my sub. His daughter was there while we were talking, still missing the one finger nail off of her hand that was in my sub! I think the owner should have refunded me all the food and not just the sub since no body ate their food after seeing what was in my sub.\r The owner Tony is one of the rudest people I have ever delt with in my life. I would not suggest anyone going to this place at all! And I think the HEALTH DEPARTMENT should pay them a little visit!!!\r \r I AM GOING TO REPOST THIS REVIEW TO EVERY POSSIBLE PLACE I CAN SO THAT NO BODY ELSE HAS TO ENDURE THE SAME THING I DID!\r \r more

Terrible Customer Service 10/16/2011

I went to try this place yesterday, So I called the place up and put in a order for delivery. Apperently they tried to call back to tell me that I had to pick it up and dialed a wrong number (although swearing they used redial). An hour later when my kids were starving I decided to call back and see the status of my delivery, the owner just yelled at me without listening to a word I said saying I crank called. I went to the shop to show him my cell phone that I had no missed called and that he had mis-dialed, and he would not even listen to a word he said. I have no idea what his pizza taste like, but with customer service like his, its no wonder the shop was emtpy when I got there. more

Amazing! 9/11/2011

After seeing all these reviews I almost didn't go and try Jason's Pizza. But thank god i did! Whenever my sister and I went up there for dinner one night and we ordered a Large greek pizza, thin crust, with 6 garlic knots. The pizza had just the right amount of flavor, you could totally tell that the toppings on the pizza were fresh, and ohhh don't even get me started on the garlic knots. They were, by far, the best knots i have ever tasted. So please, don't let these reviews fool you. Give them a try. You wont be sorry. more

Great tasting and fast! 9/8/2011

We are fairly new to the area and trying out as many local pizza places as we can. J&S is still the best pizza in a two hour radius from Raleigh, but Jason's Pizza was surprisingly good. After reading all of these reviews, we almost didn't even give them a try, but really glad we did. We got their meat lovers pizza and cheese bread. Everything was really good. The pizza was fresh, as we'd expect. We got the thin crust, which is more like a New York style (floppy) crust. Very tasty toppings! We really liked the sausage. It wasn't your typical rubbery almost hard with no flavor sausage. I wouldn't say it was spicy hot, but it had just enough spice to give it a good flavor. Very good pizza! \r \r We will be back!\r more

Very Disappointing 11/17/2009

First of all, I've been going to Jason's for the past 15 years and have persevered through the different owners. It wasn't until my recent trip that I felt the need to write a review. I believe in giving places more than one opportunity to sway my opinion. There are too many contributing factors why a customer might have a bad experience. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day, perhaps the cook just lost a loved one. You never know what's going on behind the scenes that affect food and/or service. Therefore, I try to give places 3 opportunities to correct a problem and will go back 2 additional times to give them a fair chance. After a long absence of about a year, and several bad experiences....I decided to try them again. I ate lunch buffet at Jason's Pizza 3 times over the past month....or about once a week. Each time the pizza was old and not fresh. The most recent visit (yesterday), I arrived for lunch at 11:30 right when the lunch buffet opens. There was pizza on the buffet line when I walked through the door. I grabbed 2 slices from different pies and ordered a drink. Both slices were old. When I say ""old"", I mean they were last nights pizza that was reheated. This is the 3rd time in a row having ""old"" pizza for lunch. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and showed up right when the buffet started serving hoping to get a fresh pie. Any place that puts out the ""night before"" food on the buffet line needs to realize that business will suffer. Each of the 3 times I was there this past month I was the only person eating. The people are nice and were kind to my child who was with me at the time. But good service and nice people aren't enough to make up for bad food. Sorry.....but I had to give 1 star. Pros: Good Service Cons: Buffet Pizza is old more

Love the food at Jason's 4/25/2008

We really like the food, especially the Pizza at Jason's. The lunch buffet is a real bargain and the food is good. The time they were shust down was because items that had been grandfathered from the previous owner needed to be upgraded. Like not the right kind legs on chairs, baseboard needed updating, etc. It had nothing to do with the safety of the food or real sanitation issues. \r \r We eat there at least once a week. We like Dennis and Tammie, they are friendly and interesting. When they are busy, Dennis doesn't have time to socialize unless you and everyone else wants to wait on their orders. When he has time, he is friendly and sociable. Pros: Food, Pizza and owners Cons: Location is not great more

Delicious! 3/23/2008

I absolutely ADORE their pizza. It's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, and I've never been disappointed! Be sure to try them out on Friday nights - they have karaoke!!! A friend of mine has worked in Jason's, and I can assure you that the sanitation problems alleged in the other review were obviously just the result of a disgruntled employee looking for revenge. The waitresses are friendly and courteous, and when you go on buffet nights (Monday and Tuesday...super cheap!) they'll put any pizza you request on the buffet! Overall, it's a great, friendly atmosphere with DELICIOUS food. more

worse pizza parlor in town 3/5/2008

buying a frozen pizza from Wal-Mart is better than anything Jasons has to offer. If you truely want good pizza go to either J & S New York style pizza or 2 cousins in Angier more

Really good Semi-New York Style Pizza 10/2/2007

I don't know whats wrong with the last two reviewers. Obviously must be disgruntled employees just trying to make trouble for their old boss. \r I have been in Jason's Pizza twice a month for the past five years. I have never gotten sick from the food. The food has never been low quality. In fact, its the best pizza for the price in town. Their sanitation grade is a 94.5. They have less business in the last year and a half because the competition has grown. There are too many pizza places in Fuquay Varina. The location isn't the best to get noticed either. For all they have to overcome they are doing a great job.\r I have spoken to the owner there many times. He is very nice, works real hard and aside from being scarred in a bad motorcycle crash and being a little quirky he is a great guy. He takes pride in making great pizza for less than the corporate chain places.\r I would highly recommend eating at Jason's Pizza. Pros: Great pizza, quiet atmosphere Cons: I can eat only one large before I'm stuffed. I wish I could eat more. more

It's not the same.. beware 9/11/2007

Avoid like the plague. \r Since it was bought out, it's gone downhill. \r Someone in our party got sick after eating eggs off the salad bar.. while we were there, it was determined they were bad. (she didn't realize it and ate it) \r \r Saw the owner turn the oven fan on with his pizza paddle spatula! Flicked it with the spatula. \r A customor came in to let him know how much she loves the pizza and he never even so much as turned around to say thank you. \r \r I agree with other poster.. pizza may still taste good but you run the risk of getting sick. \r I'd head off to Assagio's or Rudino's Pros: It tastes good still Cons: Heath Dept shut them down once.. Christmas tree still up in Sept, place used to be bustling, now it's empty more

Avoid at all costs 9/11/2006

I am a former employee and have seen many things happen that should never happen in a restaurant. The owner of the store is one of the most unsanitary people I have ever met in my life. He has picked up food from off of the floor and out of the trash can and still served it. He would always wash his hands in dirty dish water, but never with soap. The man is very rude and inconsiderate, a vegan family came to eat a vegitarian pizza with cheese they brought because they don't eat any animal products. The owner put sausage on their pizza, and when someone corrected him, he just picked it up and tried to serve it to them that way, needless to say they never came back. This isn't uncommon though, he frequently makes mistakes and decides to give it to the customer anyway, instead of making another one. He has burned many pizzas, sent them out to the customers, and refused to make a better pizza. He consistantly expresses his thoughts, such as ""F*** the customers, they haven't done a d*** thing for me, why should I be nice to them!!"" This business has been successful for over twenty years, until this man bought it. It is sad to see such a good, old business be ruined by one man. Pros: The food tastes good, but will not be sanitary Cons: Poor sanitation, owner is rude, and the food will likely be prepared wrong. more
