This place has nice, fresh Thai food and a quiet, (nicely dimmed), upper-east side atmopshere. Go here for a delicate meal that tastes good and costs a bit extra than perhaps you might otherwise be willing to spend. The service is fine and their delivery people are also pretty quick. It's not a special place to come out of your way for, but if you live in the area, it's worth a try once in awhile. Again, I highlight the fresh ingredients. more

Yummy! 2/23/2006

I was turned off of Thai food a while back by a bad bout of food poisoning due to bad Thai.I can tell you're probably wondering what is with the "Yummy" at the title. Well, this is NOT the place that almost killed me. They have great food all around and not once have I had as much as a stomachache from eating here. Try the noodle dishes and the iced coffee... more

Mmm...peanut sauce 1/13/2006

Jasmine is a great place to have Thai food on the UES. It's my favorite choice in that 10 block radius. The salads are fresh, the menu is extensive, and the service is good. The decor is cool - kind of dark and rustic and lots of wood. I enjoy Jasmine both eating in the restaurant and ordering in. It's reliably good and I can't say anything bad about it. Oh, and I love that they put this really good tofu in the thai salad. Mmm! more

Nice local thai place 8/30/2005

During the warmer months, flies seem to congregate in the restaurant. Pretty gross. If you can get past the flies, the food is spicy and really tasty. more

Very Good UES Thai 6/19/2005

Jasmine is a very good option for thai food on the ues. The staff is very friendly and the food reasonably priced. There is nice outdoor seating when the weather is good. Don't really have any complaints about the place. Just isn't stellar more
