John (owner of Japanese Motorsports) is incredible. You know you are gonna like this place when you call and John answers the phone "Jaaaaaaapanse Motorsports!" They has been taking care of my cars for years. The prices are fair and they are a true gem of a mechanics shop because they will fix what needs fixing, and nothing more. They let me know what maintenance will be coming up, but they don't try to take all my money by printing up a small book of stuff my car doesn't necessarily need. They know that they keep my business by being honest and fair. more

Like all Mondays, today this was busy and full of problems to solve. My wife calls me while she was taking my son to preschool. Her turn signals did not work, at all. Her emergency flashers did and from reading on the internet several posts it sounded like the switch in the steering column was out. That sounded expensive and like a pain in the butt to fix. So I called John Shea, down at Japanese Motorsports, we have used these guys in the past for scheduled maintenance and they always treat us right. John said, bring it in and he would help diagnose the problem. I came in and John looked up the wiring schematic on his computer and said that this particular model had two fuses and not one, so I bet it is just the fuse. He helped me find the fuse, and even replaced it for me! Pros: Honest and really care! Cons: none more

John Shea has been taking care of my cars for more than ten years now. In fact, his Japanese Motorsports is the only shop that I will let work on any of my cars (Japanese and American). My last car was an Infiniti. He did all the maintenance on it and kept in tip top shape. When I finally sold it with over 170,000 miles one of his mechanics who performed the service on it over the years bought it outright. I suppose he knew a good car when he saw it. After all, he was the one who maintained it. more

My old Honda loves its tune-up! It sounds just about better than when I purchased it! You guys are top rate and so very reasonable. Thank you for all the work and kindness to me as well. My car will be back for return visitsor my new one will be there if I get one. more

Just a note to say thanks for the excellent work you recently did on my wife's 2004 Nissan Maxima after her misfortunate accident with the 'mystery object' in the road. Your company and great staff provide high quality work, always on time, and always at a fair and reasonable price. You always go over the work needed in great detail while providing me with all my available options. I always have clear understanding of the work being done before the work begins and of course, there are never any surprises on the invoice. Again, thanks for being there. When work is needed, I will always bring my personal and company vehicles to you guys for repair because I know the job will get done right the first time saving me money down the road. We have been a customer of John Shea's Japanese Motorsports for more than 3 years. We have always found John and his staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. The have been a great source of information and they are willing to search for those sometimes hard to find Z parts. For fast and quality work at a fair price we would highly recommend them. more
