Great Place to Shop 3/22/2012

I have known James and his staff, Tina and Hunter since about 2000. So, I might be prejudiced toward a good rating, but of course that is because I am a repeat customer due to their knowledge, willingless to help, patience and friendliness. This is the only place I buy jewelry anymore, and if their isn't something I want, they are more than happy to help me find the perfect piece. Although I am sure they give all their customers the same attention as I receive, it still feels like they are there to help just me. They stand behind the items they sell. Tina was more than helpful in having a very small lost diamond replaced and without cost to me. Additionally, Tina always goes above and beyond what you might find at a chain store. She offered to clean my mom's jewelry, while she perused the shop, even though her jewelry had not been purchased there. I am and will remain a long time customer because of my first time and everytime experience there. more

Beautiful Estate Jewelry 8/19/2005

James McHone Antique Jewelry is a beautiful jewelry shop located in the heart of downtown Harrisonburg on Court Square. They always have a beautiful window display with the most elegant and rare jewelry. They just don’t make jewelry like this anymore. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love to stop in and browse at their inventory. more

Nice store 7/15/2005

I visited this store for the first time the other day and I thought it was nice. It's a pretty little shop on Court Square in downtown and it sells fine and antique jewelry. It's a very small store and the selection is not very big. If you are looking for rare pieces then this is the place for you. They know their work and the also do repairs and things of that nature on sight. I didn't really care for the pieces that I saw while I was there and the store was a bit messy, but I think it would be a good place to buy interesting jewelry. more
