Poor Hygene, decent food, indifferent service..Never returning 9/13/2008

This is one of the worst places hygene-wise (Udipi cafe is close). I found hair in my food once and another time got pieces of borken glass form light bulb. The place is visibly shabby, the owner picks his nose and handles utensils without washing his hands), indifferent service. If you order from the menu they dont have certain items listed there...why have them listed if you never offer them!! I gave them several tries because i know some places have bad days.. but they are consistently poor... If you dont care about hygene then go for it... Very Recommendable Food 9/3/2008

I landed at this place on my long journey from NYC to Chicago just by chance. After deciding on my lunch hour timing, I checked for a surrounding Indian restaurant on way, and JJ suited me perfectly well. I wasn?t going with high hopes but was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It was originally run by someone actually from Jaipur but has been taken up by a Bangladeshi who does perfect justice to the food. Pros: good food, ambience, price Cons: smile in service more

Worst place to Dine 8/16/2007

This is the worst of all places I have dined at in my life. I went there with my wife as I love Indian food and the name sounded quite catchy. more

Great indian food!! 8/9/2006

This is a real insider's tip for good indian food. I love to get my carry-out from there, and even at work they are catering from Jaipur Junction when it comes to indian food. However, it is not a place to sit and have a romantic date (unfortunately). But when it comes to the food, I have never been disappointed, and I order at least twice a month!
