Jade Garden Restaurant

The food is not good. Stay away unless you want to eat something that looks like puke and have a lot of fried oil on it. I have pictures to prove what I am saying. Unfortunately i cannot find a place to put the pictures in this review. I will never take my family to this restaurant because the customer service is nonexistent. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce which for the past 2 years that I have been a customer there has never contained meat. However my shrimp dish had a meaty semi-transparent glob ladle over the top with chunks of beef and half cooked eggs within. After asking the head waitress about it she answered in a rude way that the lobster sauce "always came that way" and refused to help me. I was so irate that it is then I decided to take pictures of the "edible" slop and post this review. To make matters worse, I called the same restaurant an hour later to ask them what ingredients were in the lobster sauce. Beef or meat of any kind was not mentioned. My Shih Tzu puppy would not even find the offensive mass enticing. This is a dog that is sometimes interested in her own feces. more

The Jade Garden's staff is friendly, courteous, and very attentive. It is located in an extremely busy traffic area, but it is well worth the drive if you don't live too far away. The value is tremendous, and the food is definetly charming for this price range. It is certainly not a fine dining experience, but that is not why one should come here. The beauty of the Jade Garden is the reliably good food at an economic price, something that I would almost never say about other restaurant's in this price range. more
