Jackson's Cafeteria of Shelby Inc 4/13/2006

Jackson's Cafeteria of Shelby is ok. I have eaten there a few times, and about half of Shelby has (probably more). They are located just off Dixon Blvd. It's really easy to find. Their food is ok, and their service is ok. One complaint I always hear about them is that their food is just ok, and they need something that makes them stand out. However, they are not lacking in customers at all so that says something. I recommend them; try them for yourself. more

Jackson's Cafeteria of Shelby is the best. They have great, homecooked food here. The prices are competitive with others in the area. It is almost always busy as well. I go there sometimes, and when I do, I always think about when I may come back again, it's that good. I like food a lot here. I like almost everything about this place. Recommended business at four stars. more

Jackson's 3/19/2006

Jackson's is the family restaurant for authentic, home-cooked meals. Shelby prefers Jackson's. I have only gone there one time, and I did enjoy it. I had to ask for ketchup several times before receiving it. I also could not get the salt out and tried to get some from the adjoining table to no avail. Finally asked the server to switch it for me and she looked as if I had five heads or something. I told her why, and she still looked like my five heads went into ten heads or something. Other than that, it's a great place to eat. more

Jacksons Cafeteria is a good restaurant 7/10/2005

I enjoy my visit to Jacksons cafeteria very much. The food choices were great but I found that since each item is priced seperately you can easily run a high bill for a simple meal. The service was reasonable although I did ask a wait person for steak sauce a few times before I finally received it. I went to get my take out container from the cashier due to not wanting to have the same wait again. Otherwise this is a good restaurant worth the visit. more
