Best

First time I visit them in 1985, when I was still lived in Europe. I was in love at first time. Now I live here in Manhattan since 1991. This is the best hamburger I've ever have....

Worst

I went with my boyfriend at 11:30am on a Sunday for brunch. We were the only people in the whole entire place. After we chose our seats and a 4 person table they told us that if...

Truly fantastic 5/13/2006

As evidenced from the other reviews, I see I'm not alone in my opinion that this is the standout of the Jackson Hole franchise. This location should be commended for its lack of pretense and making it all about the food, namely the burgers. When you walk down the steps and have to pass the open kitchen to get to the dining room, you know you're in for a good meal. The variety of burgers, as well as chicken sandwiches, is delectable and always outstanding. Service is quick and friendly. Should you ever desire something other than meat, the Houlia Boulia salad (what a name!) is one of the best I've had in the city. A favorite spot for everyone in my family. more

Great burgers 4/16/2006

This is a small joint, decorated in a western theme. The specialty of the house is the burger. They're huge, messy and delicious...just the way a burger should be. It can get noisy there, and the restaurant is kid and family friendly. Haven't tried anything on the menu besides the burgers, but that's what they're known for. Service is good and the prices are reasonable. more

Awesome burgers 10/14/2005

I took my husband here a few years after I was introduced to it, by a very good friend. His eyes bulged at the size of the burger that was being formed and grilled. Definely a must go to place for those with hearty appetites. Service is excellent and the prices are actually quite good for the amount of meat you get. more

Casual Burger Place 8/29/2005

Jackson Hole is a good destination for families and groups of kids for a big inexpensive dinner. It can get a bit noisy, so it probably is not ideal for grandparents or dates. The burgers, fries, and chicken fingers are delicious, although the rest of the menu leaves some room for improvement. Do not order desert – the cakes are not homemade and inexcusably dry. Staff is friendly but slow, so takeout is a great alternative. more

Great burgers! 7/29/2005

The original Jackson Hole restaurant. Best hamburgers in town - they are huge and delicious!!! Very reasonably priced. Decorated in 'western' style with old movie posters. Small tables that can be put together for larger parties. Outside dining in back, also small private room upstairs. Child friendly with children's menu and crayons available. Staff is attentive and friendly but service can be slow when it's very busy. There are steps you have to go down to enter so this place is Not wheelchair accessible! more

Jackson Hole is decked out in the familiar sort of '50s Americana that you'd see at a typical suburban Bennigan's, with dusty old Western movie posters and Coke signs on the...
