Jack's Restaurant and Bakery

I really like this restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The one thing that everyone I know talks about when it comes to this restaurant is the portions. They give you a lot of food for a very reasonable price. So, if you try this restaurant you should be good and hungry because you will leave feeling happy and full. more

Jack's is a local favorite, although in my opinion, it is over-rated. It is my opinion that people come here more for the portion size than for the food itself. They give you gigantic portions of food, but most of it is much too fatty and greasy for my taste. They are also famous for their pies, which are also huge. They are famous for their breakfast, which again, is huge portions. They have a large breakfast menu with omelets, pancakes, waffles, fruit, sausage, eggs, etc. Their "light" menu is a joke! They offer 1/3 pound hamburger patty, two "heaping mounds" of cottage cheese, fruit and something else as their "light" meal option. One of my favorite things is their huge cookies. They have chocolate chip, peanut butter and oatmeal raisin. The cookies are probably about 7" in diameter and are only around $2. more
