The staff and doctor seem friendly at first, however, when it comes to billing they are horrible. They will try every way possible to get the most money out of you with the least amount of work. They didn't want to bill my insurance because they wanted me to pay out of pocket. I was told if my insurance didn't cover the procedure it would cost me $200 more. That being said,I paid some up front and was told would get a credit if my insurance covered it. RIDICULOUS!!! Lucky for me my insurance did pay for it, but it has now taken me 3 times to get my credit back. more

Yesterday morning, I visited Dr. Schlanger's office for the first time, and had such a great experience, that I felt I want to share with everyone. \r \r All the staff members at this office were very welcoming and accommodating, from the first moment I walked in.\r \r I then met Dr. Schlanger, who greeted me kindly. The attentive and detailed service that I received from Dr. Schlanger was truly impressive. He explained details to me about my eye exam and his state-of-the-art equipment, that no other optometrist ever had before. My visit was not only very accommodating, but it was also very informative. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Schlanger is very passionate about the health of your eyes. I had the standard eye test and Dr. Schlanger has a machine that takes a picture of each eye to make sure they are healthy. He gave me a few sample of new contacts to try. My name is Cecilia Salvador and both myself and my husband Chris Hoxworth were first time patients of Dr. Schlanger. We had a terrific experience!!! Dr. Schlanger is kind, compassionate, and very thorough. He made us feel as though we were his only two patients. Dr. Schlanger is completely up-to-date in knowledge and examined both of our eyes in ways no other optometrist had done before with his state-of-the-art, most modern eqiupment available.
