I’m not a big fan of this place. This place is all about the breakfast. And it is a very cheap breakfast. If you are low on money this is a good destination. The breakfast is cheap but the place is a dump. It really is gross in here. If you don’t mind this type of atmosphere then give it a try. But I’ll pass. more

JJs Cafe 4/12/2006

This is a favorite hangout for many University at Buffalo students. The place opens early and closes early. It is all about the breakfast here. You can get an entire breakfast, coffee and a newspaper for a few dollars. This is one of the better bargains in the area. The place is not for the faint of heart. It is basically a dump, but one with character. more

ill 4/8/2006

This place is disgusting. I don’t care if the breakfast is only a few bucks. The food in here does not taste good and this place is just not clean. A lot of people love this place but I just don’t get it. I will never come back here again. more

Great value 4/4/2006

This place is a dive. You could compare this to a greasy spoon type establishment. The interior is very dingy but everyone who comes here is used to or exacts this type of atmosphere. This place is not about the atmosphere but the very, very cheap breakfast. This is a college kid’s paradise. A great way to get a warm breakfast for next to nothing. more

When I lived in the University Heights area of Buffalo I used to visit this breakfast place on a regular basis. The good old days of not having any money, but I’m glad JJ’s was around. It was an affordable way to get breakfast. This place does look like a dump inside but it is all about value. more

This is a place for the cheapest breakfast in the area. I used to go here when I was a broke college student at UB. This place looks like a dump inside to some people but I consider it a place full of character. Nothing beats getting their breakfast special, some hot coffee and a copy of the paper. The service is always speedy too. more

Breakfast 8/19/2005

What do you know, another cheap breakfast place. I tried this place out today, on recommendation on my friends, and guess what, it is awesome. Their menu is not that big, but everything in there is like $5 or less which makes it very economical. Plus you have their breakfast, you are set till dinner. Great place for students to hang out as well. more

Cheap eatery 8/16/2005

This is one place where I love to have my breakfast on a sunday morning. The place is very lively and the owner is absolutely hilarious. You get a great breakfast for just a buck and you can double that for double the money which leaves you with a full stomach. The breakfast includes toats, eggs (prepared the way you want) and home fries. You can also add other breakfast fare to it like bacon, sausages for just a little more money or you can go there just to be entertained by the owner [:D]. more

Great Breakfast Place 8/16/2005

This is another great breakfast place close to the UB south campus. They too have the early morning $0.99 breakfast which includes 2 eggs, toast and home fries. Its a really great place to visit, the owner is a very amicable person. This place also has some other delicious food like crossaints and grilled cheese. The cost for food is very low and in the affordable range. They also have great Lunch and dinner plans. more

Really cheap breakfast 8/15/2005

This is another great place for cheap breakfast. For less than $5 plus tax you get two eggs - scrambled, plus cheese on a criossant. They have number of sandwiches from tuna to beef roasts. All the food in this place costs less than $5. It is a great place to visit. The owner is really great person. The place provides a home like atmosphere. more
