I used to shop at JCP all the time. I would buy everything there and always talked about it to friends and family. That was until recently when I went there to purchase an item and one of the managers, Lisa Jackson, was blatantly rude to me and acted like I was wasting her time with questions that ordinary associates could not answer (I mentioned her name since it is true = not defamation/libel). She raised her voice and stormed off when I asked why the floor model was out when no more were available in back/in IL/online with no note stating it was the last left. She told one associate to stop helping me and told another that I was crazy and scared her. Keep in mind this was just for asking questions about the product's price and availability since only the floor model was available in central IL (not even online) and was banged up. The associates gave me their names and told me I could use them when I filed a complaint with management above her. Still I have heard nothing from her boss. Corporate just forwarded my complaint back to her and again, nothing. Now I am waiting for the district manager. How does a person get that position with that attitude towards customers?! I'm NEVER going back in there again. I will change the rating if someone handles my poor experience.

So the manager finally called me after I emailed corporate about contacting the District Manager. She offered to give me $25 off of my $450 receipt for what happened. I mean REALLY?! I'm sorry but $25 for being called crazy and nearly being chased out of the store for merely asking questions is ridiculous. Good job. I'm definitely not going back.
