I'm pretty sure Izzy's is not Kosher 12/4/2009

I've gotten a cheeseburger there before. Not Kosher. more

Great Corned Beef..But 3/23/2008

The meat is excellent, and the potatoe pancakes our out of site, but the bread is not good. A good jewish deli has good bread stacked with meat. The bread at Izzy's is ""out of the bag"" , thin sliced, one step above Wonderbread. The sandwiches are average to small in size, but they are inexpensive. The value is definately in the corned beef though. I would suggest making the trip to Columbus and going to Katzinger's..... more

Best Corned Beef Around 3/10/2003

Izzy's is the best. No other deli even comes close for taste and value. The potato pancakes are the best I have ever had. Try them with some spicy mustard. Pros: Great sanwiches, Great Value more

Taste of New York 8/2/2002

Coming from New York City I'm pretty skeptical about good corned beef but Izzy's is as close to authentic N.Y.C corned beef on rye as it gets. They serve huge potato pancakes on the side, and their pickles are the best in Cincinnati. Pros: Great taste, Moderately priced, Large Menu Cons: Crowded, Nothing fancy more
