I recently went to a Happy Hour at Ivar's and could not believe how good and cheap the food was. Clam strips for $3 is all I need to get me to go to a restaurant. You can get a high-quality ceasar salad for $3 and for another $3 you can add two large pieced of balckened salmon. I found the salmon to be a bit spicey, and honestly would have prefered plain fish and chips (or at least halibut) to the salmon and chips. some things should be left as they are. more

a great happy hour 6/30/2005

The happy hour at Ivar's is amazing. No drink specials, but you can get anything: from Ceaser salad to clam strips to blackened salmon, for $3. The portions of each are almost enough for a meal and of typical Ivar's high quality. Bring your friends and order an assortment and share. more

Happy hour seafood 6/3/2005

Ivars on the montlake cut is one of my favorite happy hour deals. They have a great bar on the water so you can watch the boats traveling to and from lake washington. They have beer specials and discounted appetizers to go along with the great scenery. Also, in the summer months they have a balcony so you can be even closer to the water or even boat up to their dock for a snack. more
