Ivar's Acres Of Clams

The only reason I would go into the Ivar's restaurant is for their Happy Hour. They have great prices on beer and apps. I am a fan of the fish tacos and the oyster shooters. I'm not a big fan of the restaurant. You end up paying double to sit indoors; I'd rather go to the fish bar. If you are into clam chowder, get the "Tanker," it rocks. more

If you want great food and cheap drinks, Ivar's is the place to be. What a better way to spend some time after work than being down on the waterfront in Seattle. Their fish tacos are AWESOME !!!!. $4.00 happy hour items.......$3.00 drafts, wine and house wines. more

We spent the afternoon at the waterfront and had lunch at Ivar's. Even during the lunch hour rush the wait for our food was quick. The calamari was delicious, the fish and chips were wonderful as usual. The staff was fast and efficient and even under pressure friendly and full of smiles. Go on a day that is warm so that you can sit outside and feed the seagalls. This entertained us for a long time, but we quickly ran out of fries to share with the birds. I would suggest bringing a loaf of cheap bread to extend the feeding experience. The outside seating was very clean which surprised me since the birds were everywhere. The food was very affordable for a family of 5, but the amount of fries were too small since we shared with the birds : ). more

Ivar's is a great resturant whether your getting it with friends, kids, or family. They serve tasty foods from clams to chicken. My favorite is the four piece chicken and chips. Something most fish lovers would enjoy, is their salmon. It's mouth-watering and worth the money. Bring in your family in, and im sure you would enjoy the food! more
