Old fashioned taste 12/7/2005

Craving the taste of old fashioned custard as opposed to ice cream? It's Custard Mon fills the gap. Located in a former bank building in a shopping center, there is plenty of parking. Their custard is made on the premises, fresh and rich! I can't personally rate many flavors, being a chocolate addict myself, but a wide variety is always selected by others when I'm in the shop! There are some tables inside to sit and enjoy it - and it's worth taking a break if shopping in the center, or making a special trip. more

This is a locally owned dessert shop that serves real frozen custard. If you don’t know what frozen custard is, and you like good ice cream, TREAT YOURSELF! Thick and rich, with delightful flavors and combinations available. The owner and family run the cute little shop, and the prices are fair for this incredible treat! I do believe there is also a drive-thru. more

Custard as Ice Cream???..Yes, it's true! 8/17/2005

I had never tried this place but it was a drive-thru before it's business went into the mini-mall. As you walk in you feel like you walked a clean Jamaicain hut! They had many varieties of island type custard mixtures and then your typical custard with strawberries blended on top. The prices are fairly reasonable. I like the Frappacino they have that is custard with a Starbucks Mocha Frappacino drink in it. They also have diferrent itens such as sandwiches and even enpanadas. They offer a peanut butter and banana sandwich and the kid in me almost ordered one. Parking is not a problem, they are in a mini-mall. The service was fast. more
