Worst

Yeah, it's just a buffet, but I was really expecting more. The food was awful!

Terribly disappointed! 11/13/2008

This buffet was terrible! The hotel room was nice and I expected the food to be half decent. It cost $30 per person and the food was dry/crusty, there was not much of a selection, and to top it off my boyfriend got sick from the food and our night was ruined! Not only was the food bad the sanitation was lacking too... My glass had lipstick stains (I wasn't wearing any), the silverware was dirty, and the food looked like it had been sitting around a while. I wish someone would have given me a heads up because judging by the hotel and price I was surprised at how bad this place was. Pros: Convenient location Cons: Bad food, bad sanitation more

Pricey, but worth it 12/14/2002

As far as casino buffets go, this one is worth mentioning. The Peppermill is one of the glitzier casinos in Reno, and they don't stop the glitz at the buffet door. It's more expensive than most, but the quality is quite high. There's plenty of crab and shrimp, as well as a nice slab of rare roast beef, if you like. There are Mexican and Chinese options as well, and a salad bar as well. Desserts are small, but this is a buffet. I prefer the ice cream scooping area myself. Also: it's a full sensory experience. Be prepared for an indoor thunderstorm every 15-20 minutes. Also, it's extremely popular, so be ready to wait. Pros: excellent quality Cons: crowded more

Best breakfast/lunch buffet in Reno 9/5/2002

Definitely the best buffet in Reno. We like to go there for a late breakfast which goes right into lunch if you arrive around 10:30. Perfect for kids, especially picky ones. Excellent food. Dinner is great too - shrimp and crab legs nightly! Pros: shrimp and crab, lots of variety, great parking Cons: often crowded more
