As for Japnese food in midtown Manhattan, this is as good as it gets. I recommend ordering the items in the Japanese menu, that's where the surprisingly good dishes are! Yakitori (grilled meat) are fairly priced and delicious, which goes really well with saki or Japanese beer. Sushi and sashimi are fresh in this place, and you can tell the chefs are actually Japanese, not Mexicans or Chinese! Also recommend their soba (chilled noodles) and onigiri (rice-ball). There are private Japanese dining rooms available as well. Service is very good at this place, as expected since the whole staff is Japanese. This place gets a solid 8.0 on my scale, and I will definitely visit this place very soon.
Pros: Food, Japanese Liquor, Service
Cons: Parking (forget it!!), Music (they play hard rock music)
