After getting engaged, my fiance and I went by Invitation Chicks to look for invitations and thank you notes. We were really impressed with what we ended up with. We found plenty of things we liked in their huge selection, including a few things that I didn't realize they would have -- like reception decorations. The staff worked with us to create a custom invitation, offering some good advice when we needed help (and believe me, we did, not knowing a thing about weddings). On top of all of that, they went out of their way to gather a few suggestions on the rest of our plans, like finding a nice outdoor location in the Hill Country for the ceremony, speaking with photographers, and tracking down a good caterer. Given the large number of engaged couples who drop by, they certainly seem to have the expertise. Their prices were very reasonable as well.

Cons: Located on the north side of town, so it's a little bit of a drive if you live south of downtown
