When I told them I did not have enough money for the additional tests on my eyesight that they wanted to do, they did it for free saying since I was older, they needed this base line information and did it for free because they cared about me. I really appreciated it! more

Freedom at last ----- no more hard contacts! 11/9/2010

After decades of being told by an old fashioned eye dr. that they just didn't make soft contact lenses in my prescription, I expected more of the same when I saw Dr. Sweeney. BUT....he had me in super comfortable daily wear soft lenses when I left his office! I literally cried for the freedom from discomfort, expensive solutions, worry about losing a lens .... if you wear hard GP lenses you know what I mean. Because of Dr. Sweeney's high tech exam, I know know that my eyes are healthier than I was lead to believe, as well. John and Jeremy in the optical shop are absolutely the BEST and lots of fun, too. All around great staff and eye care. more

Highly Recommended!!! 10/4/2010

I went to Dr. Sweeney for contacts. He worked with me trying all options, including several types of soft contacts. He has demonstrated great patience and willingness to make changes until he found the best solution for my needs. more

Wonderful office with very knowledgeable Doctors 11/24/2008

I have been a patient of Dr. Sweeney?s for five years now and could not be happier. Their office is equipped with the latest technology, beautiful frames and friendly staff. I personally hate wearing glasses, but was afraid of the complications of surgery. After informing Dr. Sweeney of my problem, he told me about a new kind of lens called CRT (corneal refractive therapy) lenses. They?re AMAZING! You wear them to bed at night, take them out in the morning and see perfectly all day without anything. I know it seems too good to be true, but the lens acts as a retainer for your eye, molding it back to the shape which permits 20/20 vision. As a result of visiting Dr. Sweeney, I have not worn glasses in over 4 years. I am a very happy patient, and you can be too! more

Best Eye Doctors in Town 4/29/2008

I just had my eye examination by Dr. Sweeney and thought it was the best exam I have ever received. He covered every detail and took the time to make sure I had the exact fit. He helped me find the right pair of glasses so that I could see better at night. Unlike another reviewer, I thought the staff offered assistance with lenses and sunglasses with no pressure to buy. They took the time to show me a variety of lenses to make sure I found one that really looked good on my face and gave honest opinions. They told me what looked good and what didn't. They were nearby if I needed help or had a question, but gave me space and let me decide without pressure to buy a single thing. InSight is the best! 9/6/2007

InSight Eyecare on Roswell Road gave me the very best eye exam I think I have ever had. Like most of the other reviewers, I felt vey welcome and comfortable at InSight. Far from being high pressure, I felt the doctor and staff listened to my needs and educated me about all the choices I had available. I never knew I could get contacts just for playing tennis that would help me track the ball. No one has ever taken the time to explain to me about polorized lenses, and what a huge difference they make in taking out the glare. They made their recomendations and I made my choices. I love how I look in my new glasses and how crisp and clear my vision is. I highly recommend them, and look forward to returning next year. more

Excellent technology, high-pressure sale 8/23/2007

I agree, the technology used by Insights is top-notch. However, the high-pressure sales after the eye exam isn't work the advanced technology. I knew what I wanted (contacts) and was bombarded w/ the reasons why I also needed high-priced, designer glasses, an expensive magnifying glass for a relative and glare-resistant sunglasses (also very expensive). I said no several times to all of the above but that isn't a word they hear very well. I felt like I was on a used car lot. Personal attention and really listens 6/27/2007

Finally, great service, cool frames, easy to get to and park. Dr Sweeney is the best. He takes the time to do it right and you know the prescription is right when he finishes. He listens to my concerns and needs from my glasses. He customized a pair for me to use only at work. Highly recommended more

Top notch optical facility 5/6/2007

Dr. Sweeney provided an extremely professional, thorough exam. The office uses state-of-the-art equipment, and Dr. Sweeney walks you through each step of the exam. The shop has the top of the line eyewear and friendly courteous staff. I had to return a rental car nearby and Dr. Sweeney had one of his staff pick me up!! That's service above and beyond! more

Terrific Contact Lens Service 3/28/2007

Dr. Sweeney made my contact lens experience fantastic. As I just turned 46, I had trouble reading and seeing in the distance. The new contact lenses allow me to do both. His staff was professional and courteous and his office is conveniently situated on Roswell. I was also able to pick up a nice pair of Maui Jim sunglasses! Pros: The best contact lens service more

Best eye exam 3/9/2007

I went for my first appointment with Dr. Sweeney earlier today, and I have to agree with the other reviewers. It was the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. Plus, Dr. Sweeney and his staff were all extremely nice and professional. It was definitely the best experience I've ever had with getting my eyes examined, and I would recommend Dr. Sweeney with absolutely no hesitation. I have been going to Dr. Sweeney for three years and he provides the most pleasant and thorough eye exam experience I have ever had. He employs the latest technology while genuinely caring about the patient. He is meticulous and never rushes through an exam, which has been my complaint with other doctors. Caring, Professional and High-tech 6/30/2005

Dr. Sweeney gave me the best eye exam I've ever had. Seeing the inside of my eye blown up on a computer screen was a trip. My progressive bifocal glasses are so light that I haven't bothered to use the contacts I have! David is professional and loves what he does. Totally recommended.
