If you are searching for a great tattoo experience, search somewhere besides Ink Expressions in Chattanooga. Horrible Customer Service. You will be greeted at the door by young RUDE people (girls and guys) that hang out. They are not the artists, FAR FROM IT! They are your typical tattoo shop groupies. Not one of the artists, including the owner, take charge of this business. These RUDE derelicts are allowed to run-a-muck with no supervision. My entire family and several friends have been tattoo'd by many different people there. Eric, Ernie, Matt, and even pierced by Damon. We have been made to wait for HOURS even with appointments with no excuse or apology. ""Get up every morning looking forward to my next piece of art""... ummm no, That would involve actually caring about your customer and how they feel about your studio and this is just not the case at this shop ANY LONGER. No, Ink Expressions is a Tattoo shop of the past. It has run its course. Or you could say they have gotten too big for their britches and think they are so special that people will not go somewhere else. You see, Customer Service is the key to EVERYTHING. Thank you for showing my family that you do not need our money or even our WORD OF MOUTH to keep you up and running. Oh you will continue to be in business because you will continue to have this riff raff in your studio that will bring in a different type of crowd to your shop. I will take my money and my business and move on to a better CLASS of shop! more

I have a total of 5 tattos (1 by Eric, pretty satisfied, 3 by Ernie, whom I would recommend to anyone interested in getting inked, and 1 by Scott, never recommend - went in with a picture and the tattoo looks nothing like the photo). I have had to get my belly pierced 4 times (accidental ripping and having a baby will do that to you). I am very satisfied with all 4 of those experiences. I also have a hood piercing. I was very nervous when meeting Tyler, but he calmed me down and was very professional about his work. Over all, I am extremely satisfied with my experience with InkXpressions and I have and will always recommend to family and friends. more

Waited for over 3 hours when I had a 2 pm appointment with the owner Eric, said he was running behind and that if we came back in 1 1/2hrs he would do my tattoo plus my wife's. We gave him our number in case he finished early so he could call and we left to grab some food. Came back on time and he had taken someone else back and had never called us!! Said it would be another hours so we waited, and after 3 total hours of waiting we left! NEVER going back again!! more

Jeremy at ink expressions did such a good job on my first tattoo that I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my other two done.I recomend everyone who asks me to go there. He did a wonderful job on them. Thanks jeremy. more

I got my first tatoo from ERIC, I was nervous about getting a tatoo on my lower back from a man, after talking with him, he made me feel very comfortable. He drew it up and tatooed the BODY ART on my back, I had a good feeling during the whole experieance and I am pleased with it all. I would recommend INK EXPRESSIONS to everyone. I got my 2nd totoo to day, but my first one from ink expressions, MATT took my ideal and made it the work of art it is now, and retouched the one it is attatched to, It is more than a tatoo it is an expression of myself. the whole experence was a pleasure I WILL recommend ink expressions to anyone and everyone. Hey just want everyone to know that ink expressions is the best shop to go for tattoos. Eric is great he took my husbands artwork and did matching tattoos for us at a great price. Eric has also done all my families piercings. i'm certain that all the other staff is just as qualified or they would't be working together. The staff is great and the shop is very relaxing. ink expressions has moved across the road to 5812 ringgold. Now they have four artist and a piercer on staff full time . Even on the weekend its a short wait especially. if you call ahead . . their new shop is awsome and up to date. check this out they have large flat screen tv's withsurround sound in every booth so you can watch a movie or play playstation while getting your tat. they have guitar hereo!!!. theyre work is exceptional and you just cant beat the prices theyre good at working with you on the prices.I had an awsome fun and personalized experience . ask arround . its the place to go. oh parking in the rear is huge and well lit. I just got my first tatoo there 3 days ago. They were very helpful, and nogotionable. I told them all i had was $50 and they worked with me. I had my Tat done by Enerst. Ink Expressions is the best out there, I have always went there for any tattoo, or body piercing. All employee's are the friendliest people, and I have a good time while I'm there. I like Andre' for tattoo?s and Michael for body piercing! I'm sure they are all great to work with but from experience, those two guys are beautiful, and it's truly my pleasure to work with them. I will go back to them for everything - every new fad that's out there I usually go to Ink Expressions and don't have to wait long at all, b/c they are smart and know what they are doing! I love It! I have multiple tattoos, 16 to be exact! All but 1 was done at Ink Expressions. I highly recommend Ben, he is excellent! He can pull a drawing off the wall or you can bring in your own. Ben has even free-handed some of my work and it is awesome. I get so many compliments on them. Most of all, I am extremely happy with his work. I would recommend going to speak with him on a weekday so he can give you all of his attention. His pricing is very competitive and it may be worth the extra 20 dollars to have him do it.
