If I could give a negative rating, I would. I have had the worst time with this company. I recently bought a cell phone and opened a new account with them. At the time, they gave me a rebate form to fill out which would expire in 13 days. The manager told me to cut out the UPC code from the box and to send in the rebate as soon as possible because it would take a few days to get there and a few days to process it. 14 days later my phone started malfuntioning. I took it to a verizon store where they told me that because it had not been 30 days yet that I could get a new phone exchanged in its place but that I would have to do that with my dealer OR I could get a refurbished phone sent to me by Verizon. So I went back to Infinitel and they number 1 said that I could only do so if I had used less than 400 minutes. He said that that was a number I could not manipulate so he would know for sure and I couldnt trick him. What kind of an attitude is that?! Then he tells me because I cut the UPC code I cant exchnge it I can only wait 30 days until the warranty kicks n and then they can fill out forms so I can get a refurbished phone. Why would I do that if verizon can do it now. So then I said Verizon said we could exchange the phone with or without the UPC code and tha tthe only reason I cut out the UPC code right away was at his urging because the rebate was going to expire soon. he said nothing about if I cut it I could not exchange my phone. He doesnt blieve me when I tell him verizon told me this so he calls verizon himeslf and verizon tells him the same ting. without a UPC code, an exchange CAN be made within 30 days. But he still would not exchange it. He said he never told me to cut the UPC code (which is a lie) .
Not only was there poor customer service and policies that deviated from Verizon policies, they added ringback charges to my phone. charges that I did not authorize (since it is a optional add on)
Cons: Horrible customer service, tacks on hidden charges (that they conveniently forget to mention)
