One of the things that makes Indian Caverns unique is all the history associated with the thing. I expected the pretty standard impressive geology (and there is plenty of that), but it was the Pre-History, Native-American artifacts, and ""outlaw"" stories that really did it for me. Seriously, the thing has lost buried treasure in it. Entertaining, in addition to being large and impressive.\r

It might have once been a standard old-fashioned ""road side attraction,"" but they really do a good job telling a story out of it now. More like a fun time-warp than roadside attraction, if you ask me.\r

Pros: Good Tour, Informative Staff, Cool formations, very pretty grounds
Cons: Gets a little chilly in the cave - bring a pull-over!
