I have been a loyal customer of Image Express One Hour Photography in Salem, Oregon since 1992, when I brought my 2 day old daughter in for her first photo. For several years I would walk in and be greeted immediately. The staff would immediately start warming up to my children to make it more comfortable for them. As a result I received wonderful photos, which kept me coming back. I never gave where our photos were going to be taken a second thought and always referred anyone who ever mentioned having photos taken to Image Express. The wonderful customer service, the 1 hour return of the photos and the reasonable package price is what kept me coming back throughout the years. Every photo displayed in our house, wether it be of one child, four children, all six of us or even my entire family have all been taken there and I have displayed them with pride. Unfortunately, the exceptional customer service and wonderful quality photos started a drastic decline when I brought my four children in 2 years ago in November 2005 for our Christmas photos. The lack of customer service and the very unwelcome feeling we received was unbelievable. I gave the staff several more chances after that and they have not improved. They are worse. Jody, the manager or assistant manager - she refers to herself as something different every time I have asked to speak with the person in charge - has the poorest customer service and managerial skills I have ever seen. I do not appreciate the ""sorry about your luck"" attitude I receive. We are rushed in and out with no care or concern given to the quality of the product we are paying for. The photos haven't been centered, aren't ready in an hour and are presented with finger prints all over them. November 2007, again for Christmas photos, unfortunately was the last straw. I am tired of being treated so poorly. Image Express has lost a very loyal customer and many referrals. We will not be back.
