These guys rock...like a local neighborhood hardware store 6/11/2010

This is the first and last place I will now go for my rv needs. I've got a real Burning Man pile of **** rv that's been in my family for a very long time. It looks rough, but the interior is pristine and we still love traveling with our ""old family friend"". NO OTHER RV PLACE WOULD TOUCH IT...think about that for a second. Your rv is not important to the big RV places if you can't make them any money and mine was refused repeatedly due to longstanding issues that have ALL now been resolved by Ideal. These guys didn't think twice about all the little issues at hand and they earned every bit of the paltry amount they charged for the work. This kind of business is disappearing too quickly in America. We have become a throwaway society and I would rather give this type of business my money because they genuinely care about keeping you on the road and traveling despite not having the latest blinged out yacht on wheels. This is tried and true stuff...they do not do snake oil bs...if it doesn't work as well as the established products they've used for years, they don't carry it. I've read the other 2 reviews here and both are by people very sadly missing the point. One sounds just like the ""rep"" of the product company irritated that these guys won't carry the product and the other just sounds like someone not interested in being helped according to manufacturer warranty protocol. Everybody that complains about a Home Depot or it's equivalent should think about saving a business like this one. Greed is not king here and that's why they deserve your business. Cheers and thanks for the closest to a Euro proper experience since I've been in the States. Pros: Super friendly staff willing to work on anything Cons: a bit old school, but in a really good way more

No Help Here 6/6/2009

Asked about the most known effective EPDM RV roof coating on the market-Liquid Roof, never heard of it, asked about EPDM membrane, the most common trailer and RV roof waterproofing, didn't have any, asked if they had a roof AC gasket seal, didn't have one. The items I asked about are some of the most critical to the maintenance of RV's, the staff couldn't tear themselves away stuffing their faces with buckets of KFC slop to help me. They laughed at the idea of looking this stuff up on the 'net. If you like working with Troglodites this is the place for you. This is not first run-up with this unhelpful outfit, but it certainly is the LAST! I Heard Allied RV Supply is opening a shop in the area. Pros: Biggest pile of old stuff including the staff Cons: Where should I start? more
