The owner makes it sound as he is giving you the best price ever,but when you shop arround at other places you come to realize how over priced they are. more

Good: Service, quality, selection. Bad: very busy. Other: I came to over the weekend, the place was crowded with people!!! I didn't have an appointment but the nice girl at the front was happy to squeeze me and my party in : ). We only had to wait 5 mins. I had had to specific dress's in mind and i was so glad that they had them for me to try on. This was the first shop and the last shop i went too, they had so many dress's for me to try on and my consultant even pulled more for me to see so i could be sure i was making the right descion. I had done some calling. more

had a worst experience as a bride at IBEX bridal in downtown. The customer service was poor, I was lied about the price of the gown and they gave me the price of the veil 4X more than in different bridal store! I put a small deposit for my gown and veil and after signing an invoice with very little tiny letters I found out that I am not able to cancel my dress or veil and I need to fully pay for it. I am not getting married anymore and went to the store to explain my heart-breaking circumstances and was told I will not receive my money back and need to pay for the gown regardless. With tears in my eyes I screamed and they called a security on me!!! Now, my dress supposed to be made and delivered for July and it is not even in production yet but the owner already made a collection claim and wants to take me to court. None of us is in the possession of the dress. My question is how can you sue someone for sth you don't own? I will not mention his insensitive behavior towards my personal loss....Please DO NOT BUY anything from this store. It supposed to be your most memorable moment and it is a total grief. more

Good: Okay ladies, yes they do have wonderful dresses, but the quality of service is horrendous. They catch you on there 1st sales pitch so be careful please!. I highly recommend you to record everything they say and promise.. Bad: I'm a bride to be in Sept and believe me when I say I'm not a bridezilla. My sales associate was this Armenian girl named Annaline. Great help at first just said and did anything to make a sale. They don't care about you as a customer, treat you like dirt if you don't give them what they want. I paid 3800 for my dress, and they promise to pay for my pressing, but reality they wanted $500 for additional hidden fees. I was insulted called names and treated to keep my dress. Oh and called the police on me.. Improvements: They seriously need to take a customer service class and treat their customers with respect. Never point the finger and another person especially a bride to be not only treated send me to collections, really? idiots, as if they have my SS# .I totally regret going there. To say the least they made my tears come out and that just doesn't happened so imagine the frustrations and stress they caused me. To say the least I had to call my attorney at this point. This is what I get for shopping in DOWNTOWN. Other: Not worth the couple hundred you save. Ladies stick to Costa Meza, Mary Lus in Pasadena or Beverly Hills. They were great treated me like a Queen wine and dine me. Not in this over crowded dirty fitting room that's upstairs with no air conditioner, "great image right ladies". End result ladies have my dress took it elsewhere to fix it and press it.I'm writing this review at 3am in the morning so imagine how furious I must be.. more

I ordered my gown from Ibex a week ago. I did love the service, the salesperson I worked with was very helpful and she did make me feel like a very special customer. I'll give them four stars instead of five just because they do not have a parking. The store is beautiful, has a huge selection of wedding gowns and the prices are just great! more

I was so horrified to see the poor reviews of IBEX. I want to tell you about my experience with them. I was an excited Bride-to-be when I went in to the downtown store, where I was expertly assisted by Narra. She guided my in all ways in choosing a gown that perfectly complimented my somewhat imperfect proportions, and I placed my order with confidence. Nara called me when my dress came in, and I went in to collect it, exactly as promised. I was extatic! It was everything I had imagined, and more. My wedding day dawned on June 14th, 2009, and I felt like a princess!!! Thank you to Narra and IBEX. I recommended the shop to my friend, who alerted me to the negative reviews, and I felt I needed to make my experience public, so that people will know that my experience was really terrific! * Pros: low prices * Cons: no free parking - Sandy more

I have been a bridal consultant for the past 30 years, have done many- many weddings. Just last year my own daughter got engaged and I took her to few of my favorite salons. Finally we end up buying the gown from IBEX. She loved the whole experience. The gown was absolutely gorgeous, very well priced. I could not help looking through other commentaries about IBEX. I used to work in a reputable dept. store selling bridal gowns. It is outrageous to see some of the brides turning into bridzilas when they cannot get their way. It is unfortunate that some of their unfair statements cannot be responded by the retailer. My advise to you in order for you to dig up some unbiased opinion about a salon, is to contact Better Business Bureau for latest ratings for every salon. I have been buying gowns from IBEX for my clients on and off for the past 10 years. I highly recommend this operation to every bride. Go down there and see for yourself. more

Wow, I am finally done. My wedding was 2 weeks ago. I started looking two and a half months ago. Time was very short. I tried with few salons they all said it was too late to order. I drove to downtown LA and ended up at Ibex. I am telling you, this salon is the one that all the brides should go to shop. Everything was very precise and as promised. Everyone knew their job. They spent a lot of time with me until I said "yes to the dress". They carry top of the line brands, and the prices are very reasonable. It's not a very fancy store but the merchandise they carry is very exclusive. Anyway, my master seamstress fit the gown on me like a glove. I am size 0 and have 4'8 height. Well, you guys, I would highly recommend them as a legitimate bridal salon. By the way, I asked them about the bad reviews on this website, and the manager told me that they had only few bad reviews per year, which is not that bad. Yes, Ibex came through, I loved the whole experience. Before I started looking for my gown I checked few of the bridal salons' websites. Then I looked at their reviews. Yes I very nervous. Finally my aunt recommended that I should visit IBEX. I went down with my maid of honor. We were both so impressed with their collection that decided to do the order the same day. The sales lady was excellent, helped me in every way possible with all the details. Now I am in my honeymoon and still remember how great I looked at the wedding night. - Sandra P. more

I flew from Arizona to Los Angeles looking for a bridal gown, checked out several bridal salons in LA. I was hesitant to go to Downtown, didn't think will find any designer gowns. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! Ibex carries all brands. What a selection! I did not have to go anywhere else. I ordered my gown, accessories, bridesmaids, my mom's and maid of honor gowns. I loved working with Nara, my sales consultant. My gown has already arrived and being altered. Save yourself lots of time and aslo save few hundreds. CHECK THEM OUT! - Ruth S. more
