IKEA has everything and cheap! 3/29/2006

Oh boy! Even thinking about IKEA makes my heart beat faster! Even though this superstore is still a good hour's drive from me, I love it! It is soooo cheap! I couldn't believe it the first time I went. And how smart is it to have everything a family needs for a great shopping experience? An on site drop off play area, little play areas in each section of the store, a restaurant with decent food, and free diapers in the restroom in case you run out. I was so impressed with the mentality of this store. more

I live for Ikea!! 10/31/2005

Ikea has the best stuff for the cheapest prices. If you don't like modern furniture, it doesn't matter... you'll still love Ikea. They have so much kitchen stuff (utensils, bowls, cups, pots and pans, etc), bathroom stuff, kids' stuff, and YUMMY meatballs! If you haven't been to Ikea in Houston or Frisco and you live in Texas, you're crazy!! more

A Day Out for the Whole Family! 8/28/2005

I love this place!!! You could spend days here. IKEA is located across from the Stonebriar Mall and carries a large range of inexpensive, quality furniture items as well as many, many accessories. The building is enormous and you can always find something new each time you shop here. The upper floor consists of showrooms and small model homes to get ideas and locations for the items you're interested in. It also has a 300-seat restaurant that serves a variety of Swedish foods such as meatballs and salmon for lunch and dinner as well as a $0.99 breakfast. The lower level consists of a Markethall full of accessories, a self-serve area for furniture items, a bistro and sweet shop serving the most delicious cinnamon rolls, and an as-is area where you can get a large discount on furniture with small scratches or items that came from displays. There is also a daycare type facility on the lower level so parents can shop without the kids while the kids can have fun playing games, etc. The entire store is kid-friendly, and customers are encouraged to try everything out. I would highly recommend this place! more

A fantasic experience! 8/28/2005

This huge furniture and home goods store is unlike any other store in its category. With miles and miles of shopping space, Ikea also has a restaurant and a daycare inside of the store. There is someone that greets you at the door, handing you a map of the place (which you need) and will direct you to the department of your choice. The items sold are very inexpensive and of good quality and there are so many things to choose from, your head will spin. From dinnerware to couches, Ikea is the place to go if you need something for your home. more

IKEA Frisco 8/18/2005

This store is just awesome. It's huge, with a kids' area and a restaurant serving swedish foods. As you shop, you can also sit and experiment with the furniture. The salespeople do not hound you. The whole place can be rather overwhelming; it's best to plan ahead with your catalog and know what you're looking for. And go during the week if you can. Prices are great, but you do have to put everything together yourself. more
