Hotel had a great location, very close to downtown. The staff was very nice and professional except for the front desk manager. A marble table in the hotel lobby was damaged and my debit card number was taken down for damages. I went down to the front desk the next day and asked to speak to the manager kris. He said someone would be coming to look at the damages and quote him on a price. He estimated it would be around 500 dollars. Again the next day we went to speak to them, he had said someone came and the bill had come to 500 dollars. I asked if they could send me a bill in the mail to go on a payment plan. He said I could only do that if I payed 300 dollars upfront that day. I told him that he would need to provide me an invoice or a bill of the damages and he said he could not provide that to me at the time. I said I would not pay any money to the hotel unless they could provide me some kind of written amount/invoice of the damages. He said that is fine. I then asked if he was sur more

Great place to stay! 2/12/2010

This particular Hyatt is really nicely located. One of the few hotels directly on the waterfront in Penn's Landing, it has amazing views from just about any room in the whole building. Huge conference rooms and even bigger ballrooms. Nice amenities and friendly staff. The prices are to be expected from a Hyatt hotel, especially one in this locale. They also have a nice restaurant inside with nice views of the Delaware River and the Camden waterfront across the way. more

not 4 me.... 4/4/2009

Stayed here after we went to a wedding last year. For being in Penn's landing I thought it would be nicer and cleaner. The pictures that were showed are not what we got. we had to have are room switched because of the smell in the room. Won't go again more

Great location 5/24/2008

This is very nice hotel as you would expect if you stay at Hyatt Regency hotels. It is located on the river, so some of the rooms have a nice view. It is located close enough many great restaurants and historic attractions. more

Don't stay here 2/25/2008

Bad service, dingy rooms, inexperienced staff.\r My one night getaway was made unpleasant by the staff at this hotel.\r I don't usual write reviews, but I travel a lot and I have never seen such bad service at a ""high quality"" hotel.\r We arrived just after check-in and were told we would need to wait 2 hrs for our room, with little explaination except that housekeeping is running a delay beacause there is a big wedding here.\r One would expect a big 4 diamond hotel is equipt to handel a big wedding, no? No appologies or consolations, and finally we ended up in a smoking room (we had originally requsted non). \r Our front desk attendand gave us attitude and left out critical information (e.g. parking fees/rules)\r All my clothes are stanky from the room.\r I'm annoyed. more

The Hyatt Penn's Landing Has it All 4/15/2006

What a wonderful place to stay on a beautiful weekend. We had so much to do on the waterfront, enjoyed our lunch outside on the terrace, and my wife got to do what she does best-- watch people! It was a relaxing weekend getaway, our room was clean and comfortable, and the exercise room was well equipped, as was the bar............ Very enjoyable! Pros: clean and comfy, outdoor dining, fun bar scene more

A Fabulous Stay at the Hyatt 4/1/2006

My wife and i stayed at this fabulous hotel when we were in town for the flower show for business. Not only did we enjoy the Flower Show tremendously, but I think we picked the best hotel in Philadelphia, with the best and most beautiful location. While we are not far away from the city, we decided on staying in town so we could maximize our time at the convention center, and we made an excellent choice with the Hyatt Penn's landing. Our room was great and our stay was nearly perfect. Pros: great location, easy to access, clean and tidy more

What a Weekend! 4/1/2006

I spent the weekend at this wondeful hotel and had the time of my life. The rooms were clean and well furnished. The views of the river were awesome, the bar was fun and full of people. The outdoor dining was a huge plus, and the people watching was supurb. Of course, the weather cooperated so there was a lot going on. The front desk staff was freindly and helpful, and the parking was easy. Pricing was good as well as there are deals to find on the internet. Pros: great views, fun outdoor dining, clean rooms more

One of My Best Hyatt Experiences 3/28/2006

This hotel in Philadelphia is one of the best Hyatts that I have been to. I was treated like I was at the Four Seasons from the time I walked in the door from a long flight. The room was quiet and I was able to sleep. I love my view and the convenience to great restaurants and shops was great. Just a nice walk across the bridge to some fine places. I will stay here every time I am in the City of Philly for business. Pros: location, views, convenience more

A Great Hotel for the Business Traveler 3/27/2006

It was with ease that I checked into my comfortable room and settled in for a short business trip. I was completely comfortable eating by myself in the restaurant, Keting's River Grille, and my room was impeccable. The staff was friendly and helpful and I was given great service. the rates were good and I felt like I was actually on a mini vacation, a little bit out of the way from the hectic pace of Center City Philadelphia. I will continue to be a loyal Hyatt customer. Thanks. Pros: good service, great food, nice location more

What a Weekend 3/26/2006

My family and I just spent a wonderful weekend at the Hyatt Penn's landing. Not only were they courteous and helpful at the front desk when we checked in, but they accomodated us when we said we could not wait for our room to be ready because of kids nap times, etc... I believe they switched our room reservation to accomodate us. the pool was fun for the kids, and the food in the restaurant was great as was the atmosphere and view. thanks. Pros: great kids hotel, great food, accomodating more

Hyatt Regency At Penns Landing ~ Great Location 6/27/2005

On a trip up to Philly to meet friends for dinner we decided on the Penns Landing Hyatt. We went during the winter so didn't get to avail ourselves of the ferry across to the cool tourist trap in NJ, but we had an awesome view of it and will be back to take that adventure during warmer months for sure. This Hyatt is also near a few great restaurants right there on the small dock so you won't go hungry any time of year. The staff here was friendly and efficent, if not overly quick with the upgrades. Ok, we're slightly spoiled, no points off for that. The place was packed for some convention anyway. The room, while not a suite, was definitely sufficient for the low internet rate we scored. We had all the usual ammenities and the requisite in-room coffee maker. The room was also one of the cleanest I'd ever seen. I'll go with 4 stars here and recommend this one if you are planning a vacation to Philly. There certainly is a lot to do right near the hotel, and it's friendly. You could d more
