Great people to work with. After scheduling the appointment, Curtis arrived early, NOT LATE. He assessed my home, answered all my questions and gave me a written estimate on the spot. The work was scheduled. I was told the work would take about four days to complete.\r On day four the crew was done and cleaning up, I was shocked.\r The men did such a great clean up job. If I would have not of seen it for my self I wouldn't of believed it. You can't even tell the work was done.\r \r I recommend contacting Hy Tech if you suspect you have a foundation problem. more

5 STAR SERVICE\r I had a great experience. Our home needed foundation repair. However it was discovered that we also had some major plumbing problems. Curtis Miller handled everything for us. He contacted SunCoast Plumbing and coroneted the repairs for the plumbing to be done while the foundation was being repaired. That was ultimately a great savings since the we had broken pipes that could be accessed through the same holes the foundation crew was using. more

Hy-Tech was very professional, showed up on time and worked hard to make sure we, the homeowners, were pleased with the work. They did have to reschedule once and use a different crew, but that's because our foundation was in pretty bad shape and the first crew was nervous about working on it. Fine with me. I understand companies have crews with different levels of experience. The sales rep communicated expectations in advance and the crew adjusted their work based on the maximum size of drywall cracks we were willing to patch (which is a natural and unavoidable result of leveling a pier-and-beam house). The price was not the cheapest bid, but the quality of work and professionalism were worth the little bit extra; the risk of going with a lesser bid was too great. I would give high marks for the overall value for price paid. I would recommend Hy-Tech to anyone with a pier-and-beam home. more

They owe me 2 days wages 2/11/2012

Need foundation repair for my house, a friend refered Hy Tech to me. p.s.This guy is not my friend anymore!!!! Called them in Oct. 2011 and a lady told me they are so busy, an inspection can't be arranged until Dec.. OK, fine, make an appointment for inspection on first Thu. of Dec. around 1pm. On that day of Dec. no call no show, call them in the afternoon and the same lady told me she does not have my name on the list for inspection today or any day. Then transfered me to a manager, she told me that will give me another date which was first Fri of Jan 2012., she even gave the name of the guy who will come over. I asked her do I need to call to reconfirm? She said no and she has my address already. Ok, fine. My name was not on the list but she has my address, miracle! Again, on that beautiful day of Jan. no call no show, call them in the afternoon and the same lady told me the guy may come and she will call me back and tell me when he will arrive. 2 hours later call them (of course did not call me back) the same lady answered that the guy could not come and may come next Monday before 2pm. Ok fine. On Monday no call no show. I was smart enough that did not call a day off and waiting for them. Just left a note at the front door and tell them to call me I already lost 2 days salary siting at home and wait....for nothing. May be they are good for repair foundation but I don't think they care about customers. I feel like they are my customer and I need to care about them instead. I never received a single call from them and tell me what happened in these 4 months. It may be not fair to give them one star since I don't have the honor to try out their repairing service but their customer service........... R. Ng more

I DO have my facts straight. 6/1/2011

I am not able to comment on the actual repair work this company does. Because their support staff and customer service is so poor and unprofessional, I was never able to have repair work done. The initial consultation was good. The man was on time, to the point, and informative. I decided to go with this company without getting estimates from anyone else. They seemed fair enough in price and I didn't have time to comparison shop. I needed a quick date for repair, was given a date, and was told Charlene would contact me with ""all the details and everything could be done over email."" Great. Charlene became the problem. I was scheduled for the 25th. She called on the 20th, left a message saying simply, ""we aren't doing the work on the 25th, it's now the 31st."" The tone of her message was curt and rude, with no apologies whatsoever or consideration of MY schedule. I sent an email and said that I was relying on the 25th and the 31st was too late, as I had a tenant moving in on the 1st. I also inquired about billing, as no one had sent me anything or mentioned the transaction details. Sent another email on the 24th asking if we were still doing the 25th, since I had not heard from them. Charlene left yet another rude phone message on the 24th saying, (I kid not) ""like I said, NO, we will not be doing the work on the 25th, we will try to get to it Friday."" Left a call back number. No other details. No instructions to confirm. No instructions that anything needed to be done on my end. Friday morning I called to confirm the work would be completed and Charlene was even more rude in actual conversation, telling me that they are not doing the work because I never signed the contract. And that after ""several"" attempts, she couldn't reach me. (two attempts, one I responded to, the other needed no response) I asked her why she never sent a contract to me or mentioned it in any of the messages so I COULD SIGN IT. She said ""that's why I left my call back number. You needed to call me so I could go over all that stuff."" I told her she made no indication in any of her messages that I needed to call, and according to her message, the work was to start that morning. She also could have easily sent me an email with the contract. I asked when the work could be done once the contract was sent to me and signed, she said she didn't know and would call me back. That was on a Friday-early morning. By Tuesday afternoon, I had given up waiting for Charlene. I wrote an email to the company informing them that I would post a low review. I gave 24 hours to respond. No response. I can only assume Charlene discarded the email and wiped me off the calendar with no mention to anyone else. Just another customer who changed her mind. During all this communication with Charlene, I was in the hospital with a dying family member and she was made aware of this through my email. I suppose during my work schedule and family matters, I could have remembered an empty sample contract in the folder given to me with my estimate, driven home, written in the blanks to the best of my ability, looked up her fax number and faxed it to Charlene in anticipation of them needing it, but call me crazy...I assume that is Charlene's job. Hy-tech offers a lifetime warranty, which I liked. But it makes me curious..if it's this hard to get the work done initially, how bad would it be if you needed them to come back and repair their work?? more

Great Foundation Company 5/2/2011

As the designer and developer of the Hy-Tech Foundation Repair website, we were given a stack of hand-written papers from actual clients who had nothing but good things to say about Hy-Tech Foundation Repair. Many of them we put up on their site. It's a shame that such a reputable company has been tainted by 1 condo tenant who didn't have the facts straight. more

I recommend them! 4/27/2011

I was very impressed at how professional Hy-Tech foundation handled my foundation problem. They were clean, fast, and effective. I definitely recommend them to anyone who has foundation repair needs. more

Very dishonest - do not use 7/10/2006

They were hired by my condo's management company for foundation repair. They gave an initial estimate much lower than a 2nd company, then once they started determined that the problem was ""much worse than we initially thought"" and they would need to set piers from inside, which they had not initially said they would need to do. When their employee called to tell me what they needed to do, he gave me 3 assurances:\r 1. they would finish that day (in fact, after 2 and a half days, they weren't done)\r 2. they would only be pulling up carpet and they would put it back down, he said ""there might be some dust, but otherwise, everything will be put back exactly as it was"" (in fact, they cut through some linoleum where my washer/dryer go and covered it up with a board and didn't tell me about it until I confronted them and then told me that ""you won't see it anyway with the washer/dryer there"" and they had intented to just leave bare concrete there. At the end of 2 and a half days, they said they would return the following week to put the carpet back down, etc., but they didn't.\r 3. when I was uncomfortable with just giving them acces and not being there, he assured me that they did not need to go upstairs and I told him I was giving permission for them to go downstairs only (my sister dropped by and found one of their workers walking down my stairs. I called them and they said they needed to go upstairs. I told them that they should have asked my permission first since they assured me they would not go upstairs. They didn't think they had done anything wrong by promissing me they wouldn't go there in order to get me to allow them access and then doing it anyway. In fact that is a violation of Texas Penal Code 30.05 Criminal Trespass, but they don't care.) \r I spoke to their manager and she had the same uncaring attitude about these issues as her employees. Cons: Very dishonest more
