Best training barn, best riding school 5/6/2011

The training barn is top-notch, was once a top show barn. Ginny Spooner has had 50+ years in the buissness and is the most knowledgeable horsewoman you will ever meet. Everyone is friendly and socaible, the girls in the training barn are very nice and friendly. They have beginer to advance school horses, and the training barn has everything from hunter, big eq horses to grand prix horses. Ginny Spooner raised and helping teach Richard Spooner (THE Richard Spooner, Master of faster in the showjumping world) to ride, and if you want to be as good as him, I suggest you call and schedule a lesson. The weekdays are the best times because it is not as busy. If you are a more experience horseman/woman, ask about the training barn. more

Huntington Beach Riding School 3/20/2009

This riding school is the best i have ever been too. i have been to many different training barns and so far this one has always been my favorite. It is expensive and i do think they should cut down the price ecpecially with the economy these days. Although it is expensive, you learn a lot, and you get what you pay for. Ginny(not Jenny) Spooner is one of the best trainers ever. Her son is CRAZY good at riding. If she was walking the hole lesson maybe she wasnt that good and Ginny didnt want her to get hurt. I deffinitly reccommend this riding school for any serious riders. Pros: Best ridding school Cons: expensive more
