Best Massage Ever! 10/2/2008

I do love massage but I always find myself a little dissapointed at the end. But not here. I saw Melissa and she gave me the best massage I have ever had. It was like she was reading my mind. The pressure was perfect and so was her timing. She was attentive and very knowledgable about how the body works. It was the massage I always want and never get. more

Baby's First Reflexology 5/19/2008

I had never had reflexology before. I mean, I've bribed my friends (usually with alcohol) to rub my feet and hands before ...but they're not professionals. Not like Melissa anyways. I cannot compare her work to that of any other established reflexologist, but I also don't think that I really need to dip my toes in anyone else's reflexology pool. See, Humble Abode will be where I go for such things from now on. I love how it's hidden, quiet and welcoming. Also, re: above--Melissa works there. I loved my experience. Since I'd never had reflexology before, she explained all of the benefits (besides relaxation) and what to expect. There was never a rush, never any first-time awkwardness. I'm not sure if any toxins were released or if my liver is gonna suddenly be shiny and new, but it was a calming, feel-good way to spend 30 minutes. I highly recommend it. Humble Abode is a hidden gem. Pros: Great reflexology more

Staff are excellent and make you feel sooo comfortable 5/2/2008

I have had several services here including hair, nails, and massage. Jeff is the manicurist and he's awesome and hilarious. I had a massage from Melissa and it was hands down the best ever! She and everyone else there are so sweet. I will definitely be back as often as the paycheck allows!! more

Nice Firm Facial Massage 10/9/2006

I had Nicky for my facial. I received the deep tissue lift facial w/Oxygen and LED therapies. She did a great firm lifting facial massage and applied just the right amount of product. All the products smelled wonderful and felt great. There was no sales pressure which I absolutely appreciate. This was definitely one of the better facials I've experienced. more

Best place bar none! 8/20/2006

I just tried endermologie for the first time at the Humble Abode, and was really surprised at how good it felt. I have been having Deep Tissue Lift massage facials for years at the Humble Abode, and love the excellent staff. They are so tucked away I almost hate to give up my little secret abode that just happens to have to best services in town. I always feel like a member of the family when I go there. I guess that explains why I am there at least twice a month lately. Cons: I guess the only downside is that sometimes they can be busy on the weekend. more

Excellent Place to go! 3/17/2003

I had the opportunity to go there....thanks to the Concierge at the Le Meridien....excellent staff, great set up and the humbleness. They offer private and class style pilates and yoga, special packages for you and your mate or friend to go to... and simple services such as manicure, pedicure, massages, hair styling, chiropractic work and a little gift shop as well. Want to spend a quite time in the busy(ness) of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, ladies and gentlemen, you have found serenity in this little place! Pros: Resonable, Walking Distance, Flexible Cons: Bit Expensive, Some Parking more
