Worst

Dacor told me to call them for a repair. They could not give a firm quote on the repair while at my house....said it may cost $500...Never called back with a quote. 1-2 weeks late...

Dacor told me to call them for a repair. They could not give a firm quote on the repair while at my house....said it may cost $500...Never called back with a quote. 1-2 weeks later they show up and repair it in under 2 hours and charged me for 3 hours. Wife pays them not knowing what she is paying for. When I call, they do a bunch of excuses, song and dances and general BS. Office manager will not call me back. more

Setting the record straight 4/5/2010

Very dissatisfied with their lack of quality and service. They not only do not return calls quickly, they are not very knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. Their Pros: nothing Cons: not knowledgeable, not reliable more

Perfect Repair 3/17/2010

I was recommended to Huff Appliance Service by a friend. I called on a Monday to get my refrigerator fixed and they where at my house first thing Wednesday morning. The service man called 30 minutes before he arrived. He fixed my problem and educated me on what he did and how he did it. And it was a very good price for service and parts. Very polite and clean cut man. Will use again if any other appliance should malfunction. Would recommend to anyone. Pros: Polite and Knowledgeable Service Men Cons: No cons more

Pleased With Service 7/30/2009

After all the flames here I had some reservations to have Huff service my Viking stove although I had recommendatiions from the Viking wholesale distributor in Georgia that they thought highly of Huff. I called Tueday and received a Thursday appointment. The technician called shortly before arriving when expected. The repairs were accomplished qucikly with explanations and answers to questions with maintanence tips. The parts were in stock in his vehicle. While the price was not insubstantial, it was still less than I expected including parts (the labor charge consists of the service visit and the time for the repair, which was just under an hour). I just wanted to set the record straight. Pros: Prompt, Courteous, Helpful Cons: Not the Cheapest but who is? more

DO NOT USE! 1/30/2009

There was a recall on my dishwasher. I called Huff's and the repair guy that they sent out reaked of smoke. He was at my house much longer than his 5 min. estimate. He had to make a phone call b/c he was having trouble and requested to use my house phone even though he had a cell phone. He knew I had to leave at a certain time and said it'd be fine if I left and he'd just lock up. Sure. After he left I tried to use the dishwasher. It did not work properly (though it did before he arrived!). Only one button seemed to work, the timer was reading incorrectly, and the water wasn't draining properly. I called him and he said it'd have to wait till Monday. I'm now concerned that we'll forever have issues w/whatever he did. I would NOT recommend to anyone. more

no follow up 9/26/2007

They are very friendly on the phone, BUT... service man showed up unexpected, luckily I was home and could let him in (what happened to showing up at the scheduled time?) The refrigerator repair was not done correctly and we're still having problems. For another appliance, I've had to call back 4 times over 4 weeks checking on a part. First they had forgotten to order it, now it's on ""backorder"" but it took two weeks for them to let me know that. I wish I'd used another service company and I won't use them again. more

avoid at all costs 1/30/2007

Misdiagnosed problem resulting in a 6 week waiting period for a part that did not need (6 weeks without a washer). Multiple phone calls to arrange for a repairman who did not arrive on the day that was scheduled...another day waiting on the repairman. The icing on the cake...received bill for work not done.\r more
