The Scene Huey's began with a single Midtown dive on Madison Avenue, but the thick cheeseburgers, crisp French fries, and cold beer attracted such a following that the owners were forced to expand. It gets crazy here at lunchtime, happy hour, and weekend evenings, so arrive early or plan for a wait. The experience is worth the effort. Today there are other locations at 2858 Hickory Hill (375-4373); 1771 N. Germantown Parkway, Cordova (754-3885); 77 S. Second Ave (527-2700); 2130 W. Poplar, Collierville (854-4455); and 7090 Malco Blvd., Southaven (662-349-7097). The Food The burgers taste delicious regardless of the location. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and chicken sandwiches are served with your choice of fixings and fries. Consistently voted one of the city's best eateries since 1984, this is great pub grub. Dish to Die For For a change from the ordinary try the steak on a stick, a vegetable-free beef kabob served with a basket of fries.
