Good place to stay if you're on a budget 8/21/2009

It was a good place to stay at a good price. Room size was large and comfy pillows. Convenient location for us made it a good deal. Only thing that bothered me was the ice machine locating near the lobby. Pros: Value, location, cleanliness Cons: ice machine was located in front lobby more

Affordable and clean. 8/5/2009

We stayed here before the cruise left the next morning. The hotel is quiet and in a nice location. It's a little bid older. But the staff was courteous, though.\r \r We paid $49 for one night there. So it's very affordable. We'd stay here again. more

Cheap for group travel 8/5/2009

Our group stayed here for one night before the convention in downdown. We couldn't afford to stay near Downtown so we decided to book at this Howard Johnson.\r \r The hotel is clean and the staff was helpful. One thing that could improve was to have the swimming open. Pros: Affordable lodging for our youth group Cons: swimming pool wasn't open more

Howard Johnson Inn Mobile, AL Excellent stay 7/23/2009

This hotel is was truly affordable. It was very clean for my standard. What I liked about it was the fact that the staff was very helpful and courteous. What I didn't like was the ice machine on my building was broken. The staff even upgraded me to a better room for free. I will stay here next time. more

Excellent hotel for the price! 7/22/2009

The room was clean. I like the fact that the receptionist was very courteous, answering all of my questions. My stay was just for 2 nights. But it was a quiet and pleasant experience. Pros: Reasonable price and clean Cons: older hotel more
