I have been a client at House Productions for many years. Most of the time I go to Michael. He is certainly one of the top stylists in town and I am always happy with the results....

Worst

I've gotten my hair done at House Productions a handful of times. Each time, I've arrived at my appointment on time only to have to wait 20 or more minutes for my stylist to finis...

I found this place while in college, coming in as a hair model since I couldnt afford to pay. Pros: just about everything Cons: well, i suppose the price tag is still steep, but hey, at least i leave happy more

I love this place! I have always heard amazing things about it, and when i finally went to see for myself, i was not disappointed. I saw Jessica and my hair is amazing! She was very sweet and took a lot of time talking with me first about what i wanted and the cut came out perfect. Everyone i saw while i was there left with hair that was just as amazing. Very talented staff. There is also a total lack of attitude and it makes for a very fun and comfortable atmosphere. I cant wait to go back and have my color done, ill never go anywhere else. Best Hair Salon Anywhere! 10/19/2006

I go to House Productions on a regular basis...and I love it more and more every time. Rachael is my colorist and Devon is my stylist! They always do an excellent job- whether I know exactly what I want or whether I want something completely different! Whenever I leave the salon, people ask me on a regular basis where they can get their hair done like mine! I LOVE RACHAEL AND DEVON! Pros: everything Cons: lots of bars in area- out late afterwards more

i was referred to this salon by a friend. i called on friday to make an appointment, and i was in there getting my hair cut the next morning. my stylist, jessica, did a really great job...i love my haircut. she really took her time, and she was very friendly. also, my compliments to the girl who washed my hair...awesome scalp massage. it's a cool salon and my haircut cost a lot less than i expected. i definitely recommend this place. more

Best Place Ever! 7/10/2006

I loved getting my hair done at House Productions. I get it cut by Lauren and colored by Rachel. Not only do they do an amazing job, but they are both SUPER friendly, which is nice considering how many snobby salons there are. Pros: Reasonably Priced, talented staff Cons: If it's busy, you do get shuffled around a lot. more

my new favorite salon 6/1/2006

I recently moved to the area and have been searching for a salon, House Productions is it. I got a great cut from Lauren, she took time to talk to me about what style I was looking for, gave me exactly what I wanted and really worked with my hair's natural curl. I also got great color (high and low lights) from Rachel. She also took time to talk to me about exactly what I wanted and was able to make my hair (that looked pretty fried) look much healthier and thicker. All the staff were friendly and nice, a very mellow atmosphere - no attitudes. It was an overall great experience, I'll definitely be back! Pros: on time, friendly more

Ultra Friendly Staff and Ultra Precise Cuts! 3/13/2006

I can't say enough good things about this place. I live in Boston now and I still will only get my cuts and color at house! I've tried other places too and there is no comparison! Not even on the renowned Newbury Street. The stylists at house are not only creative AND, precise, something not many salons can achieve, but also ultra friendly, fun and spunky! Devon, your the best! can't wait to visit soon! Pros: great stylists, fun atmosphere, good magazines Cons: hard to find more

everyone that works there are absolutely fabulous. i'm kind of a floater, and each one is sooo talented. i've never had bad work done to my hair there. this is the only salon i've ever walked into and been satisfied each time. you are in good hands at house productions. Best haircut ever 5/10/2004

Lauren, at House Productions, has given me the best haircut I've ever had. I've gone back three times now, and I still love it. She was responsive, didn't cut shorter than she said she would, and gave good advice on how to keep it up. Pros: responsive, pleasant, talented more

Great but too busy 2/25/2003

I would have given this place a higher score, but I was kept waiting for my very early appointment. If I make a very early appointment, there should be no reason to be kept waiting. This place fills up fast. This place does have the best price for partial highlights that I've found. Even though I loved the color, I didn't like being shuffled off to someone else to blow dry my hair because the place got too busy. Scheduling should be better. Pros: great color, great price Cons: crowded, kept waiting more
