I appauld the efforts 7/12/2010

As a former student of interior design, I appauld the efforts to maintain the hotel's old timey appeal. Enjoyed our stay... we will be back :0) more

We loved the hotel - it exceeded our expectations! The renovation is great; love the "period" theme. The 3rd floor pool area is so nice and relaxing. We'll be back. more

great deals! 6/28/2010

I recently stayed at the San Carlos during a conference. The experience was wonderful! The staff was highly professional and friendly. They made you feel at home. The hotel is beautiful. It is an operating museum. I actually felt like I was back in time. The room was immaculate and comfortable, well decorated and equipped. The bed and linens were superb. They even put the rubber duck in the bath for you. (LOL) The restaurant has very fine dining and a very courteous staff. The chef is quite good! I had a great stay and would recommend it to others traveling to Phoenix. As for the ghosts? Who knows........By the way, the gift shop has some great deals! more
