Hoss's Steak & Sea House

This particular restaurant has always been one of my families favorite places to eat when we would make our trips to Dubois, I use to enjoy looking at all of the different signs and decor that hung on the walls when I was younger and now I truly enjoy the food. I usually get a lite portion of a entree and with the salad bar included, it is enough to fill me up for a few days. The varieties of soups and the selection of different breads are to die for. The staff is friendly and the food arrives in a timely manner. The only thing that keeps this establishment from getting a 5 stars is that is a little too dark for me. Brighten the lights so that I can see what I am eating and it would be excellent. more

This is more than dining - it's a gastronomic experience in abundance. I always make the mistake of ordering a dinner. Don't get me wrong, the dinners are fabulous, from the sirloin tips to the grilled chicken, and the all great sides. The problem - if you can call it that - is that the salad bar is so delicious and offers so many great choices that you want to try them all. The soups are always hot and fresh, the breads are chewy and warm, and the salad varities are endless. Building your own salad is a treat, too, with so many options to include. My favorite is the green peas. I love the broccoli salad. And don't forget dessert! Whether you draw your own ice cream or indulge in some bread pudding with warm vanilla sauce, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy a meal at Hoss's soon - you'll be glad you did! more

This is one of our favorite places to eat at when you go out as a family. The kids like the old west look of the place and the many goodies on the salad and dessert bar. Us as the parents like that the prices fit in with our budget for a fun family night out. I like this place beacuse the waiters and waitresses are always friendy and there to plaese you. more
