Needs major overhaul.
Although the food was allright and the weather and views were excellent, the rudeness of the pro shop manager and GM completely offset these attributes.
Course conditions were appalling-
I got the feeling the maintenance equipment was under repair.
Fairways were overgrown, greens were dead slow, and the staff was gone after about 5:00 p.m. We even had to wait for one homeowner's party guests to finish playing frisbee, football, etc. on one of the fairways before we could drive the ball.
If there is a marshall on the course, he's probably stuck in the mud on one of the dry lakes.
I have been golfing for twenty-five years, and have never left a course with such an empty feeling.
Apparently the locals are selling out, as you can see by the many "for sale" signs lining the fairway.
We spoke with some of the club members and they are livid with current conditions and their own treatment.
The original intent of this course has been obviously ignored.
It's like seeing a swan dipped in crude oil.
We can only pray to the golf gods that somebody will replace the staff and heal the course.
Pros: Mountain views
Cons: "Take it or leave it," attitude of management and subpar course conditions
