Worst

Been going there for years and have not won much. I feel that I've paid for the new Casino; now I'm paying for its maintance. Only go there because I don't drive the highways.

Bad: I asked for help and I was told I could not speak to a host because I wasnt a diamond member. I had a voicemail message from a host after that, I came in to talk to him and was asked 1st, what was I doing here? what do I want? then she said the host was not in. I said I was responding in person to my voicemail and he said he was in until 8:oo. She was terribly rude. I havent been back since.. Improvements: I have no comment. The treatment I got was very rude. The best part, I was sent to 7 stars to get these insults.. Other: I am done with you. I know you do not need me. I can do my gaming elsewhere.. more

Disappointing New Year's at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond 1/6/2009

What a disappointing time. If you didn't purchase the VIP tickets. Your only chance at getting some food was an overcrowded sandwich shop. Throughout the night the tables kept increasing their min. bets. Oh, the best part was after spending hundreds of dollars at the tables they wanted $20.00 for a glass of champagne! Not a good time. more

New Year's Eve Horseshoe Casino Hammond 1/6/2009

New Year's Eve at the Horseshoe Casino was disappointing. If you didn't purchase the VIP package - there was no place to eat except for a crowded sandwich shop. The tables kept increasing their minimum bets and the best part of it all was, after spending hundreds at the tables they charged $20.00 for a glass of champagne! Yeah, that's going to win customers back. more

Great Buffet! Good Slots! 12/4/2005

I'm at the casino for the slots, and I always have a good time at Horeshoe Casino. They actually give me free buffet quite often, which makes it likely for me to go to Indy instead of going to a closer casino. However, the place is quite crowded, and one security guard in particular had an attitude problem (not toward us, but toward another man who was truthfully just minding his own business & having fun). Of all the casinos, I think Horshoe is the 'lower class ghetto' casino. I'll keep going if they give me free buffets, but otherwise, I'm going back to Showboat or Grand Victoria. more
