For Women 10/6/2010

I have to disagree with some of the comments.\r I have been goin to for women for over 10 years, they have delivered 3 of my four kids 2 being twins that were almost 6 weeks early.. All the doctors and nurses went above and beyond to take care of me and my unborn babies The doctors and the staff are awesome, i have seen every doctor there and they are all great. Of course i have my favoriates but all great none the less. I have to say the nursing and the front staff are very friendly. As far as having to wait for awhile goes to show how good they are because they are so busy and take the time to spend with thier patients. more

Best wowen's health office I have experienced.... 4/29/2009

I am so happy that I found this group of women in terms of pre/ post pregnancy care. I was so thankful to be recommended and immediately fell in love with Dr. Parobeck, Clark, Klesser, and Lemasters. I have not seen the other doctors but have noticed through my pregnancy they encourage seeing all doctors. I don't mind this concept but I like to stick with the doctors I feel most comfortable with and have seen on several occasions during my pregnancy. This is my only drawback and I do understand their reasoning for this but still see that the patient should have the right to choose.\r Overall I would recommend this establishment and I have had nothing but good things to say. Ladies keep up the good work and continue to go above and beyond the call of duty to all women who enter your office and all the expetant mothers.\r Thanks for all your help, concern and getting back with me in a timely manner whenever I have an issue arise. I appreciate the concern of the nurse when I call in and I have a problem. I have never felt rushed, or been spoken to rudely! \r Go 4 women, you are the best...... Pros: friendly doctors/staff, clean office, reasonable wait time Cons: call hold time may be long, more

Worst doctors and staff in cincinnati 3/10/2009

The staff at For Women are the rudest group of nurses I have ever had to deal with at any doctor's office. It's like a requirement to work there. Don't call the office for any reason either. The receptionist won't relay your message to the nurse or doctor. I was having issues with break through bleeding and the doctor's recommendation was "" just get pregnant, that will solve everything"". She threw this comment over her shoulder as she rushed out the door. I don't think she spent five minutes with me that day. Well, I did get pregnant a few months later and miscarried at 6 wks. I am intelligent enough to know that miscarriages during the first weeks are common, but with my break through bleeding have no diagnosed cause, it does make me wonder if the two are related. I called the doctor's office the day after I went to the hospital to see if my doctor needed to do a follow up exam. The receptionist never relayed that message to the nurse that returns the phone calls for the doctors. The nurse was rude and unhelpful. It was like I was bothering her with my problems. I still don't know if I should have a follow-up visit or not. I sent them my paperwork from the hospital, but no one has called me back yet. After my last annual check-up, I was considering finding another doctor. After all of this, I am never going back. more

For Women, Inc. has alway been fine 2/16/2009

I've always gone there and never had a problem. I always see Dr. Clark... she also is the Dr. who delivered me! I have never had a problem with the nurses or receptionists either. They've always been nice, even on the phone. However, going to the gyno is never going to be a pleasant experience...! Pros: All women-team, experienced, been around forever Cons: Can be hard to find more

Best doctor's office experience in years 5/7/2008

I am a new patient to For Women. I went to see Dr. Jeanne Corwin. My appointment was just about on time, maybe 5-10 minutes behind. I waited only about 5 minutes to see the doctor after the nurse left the room. Dr. Corwin was unbelievably nice and respectful. She spent time talking to me and about my medical history. She didn't seem rushed at all. I had no troubles with paperwork or the receptionists. I had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend For Women/Dr. Corwin to other women. Pros: great doctor, very little waiting room time, nice staff Cons: parking/finding the office building was a bit confusing for the first time more

Don't go there, unless you have no where else!! 4/27/2008

I have never felt so humiliated in my life. I have attended this gynecologist's office for three consecutive years, and this past visit sealed the deal for me never going there ever again. I usually end up waiting 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes before I get to see the doctor. The nurses are ALWAYS incredibly rude!! \r \r I made it through the vitals in one piece, and when I went in the nurse gave me information on Gardisil (the shot for HPV). She asked me if I had any questions, and I asked her how one gets HPV. She automatically got rude, and she said in a demeaning tone, ""You get it from having INTERCOURSE!"" I said, ""Even if you've only had intercourse with one person (which was me!)"" And she huffed and said ""Well, you need to get the shot because you're going to get it [HPV] if you don't"" and left the room!! I was in such shock, I couldn't believe it!\r \r So then the doctor came in (usually she's really nice, very fast though, and doesn't leave you any opportunity to ask questions). This time she came in and looked at my chart and saw I gained 15 lbs. She said, ""I see you gained your 15 lbs. back from last year? What have you been doing differently?"" I told her it probably had something to do with desserts, and not walking as much as I normally do. Then she said, well you need cut back on whatever your doing. I said, ""well my boyfriend and I cook very healthy meals, but I've been having a lot of dessert"" The she said, ""Yeah, and beer and wine add A LOT of empty calories."" I said to her, ""I don't drink.""\r \r When I left that place I felt as though I was thought of some drunken person (who has too much intercourse) who is disease ridden, and FAT!! I am never going to go there again. Please don't go!!!! Save your time, and tears, it's not worth it! Pros: My insurance covers this horrible place. The magazines are even outdated. Cons: Nearly everything, (I'm not exaggerating) more

Great practice, takes patient's best interests to heart! 4/4/2008

I selected the For Women group basically out of the phonebook for this pregnancy of mine since we have recently moved to the Cincinnati area. I was pleased to find out that they deliver at Good Sam, my choice of hospital. The receptionist on the phone was very friendly and concluded my appointment scheduling with directions to the Evendale office. \r \r I had to take my 3-year-old daughter with me to my first appointment, but this was not a problem at all. I saw Dr. Wurzbacher and immediately fell in love with her! She engaged my daughter and kept the conversation flowing. She went over a detailed health history with me and made arrangements for me to have bloodwork that was appropriate to my history, rather than just the standard testing. I had an exam which was also fine. We got in and out of the appointment in a reasonable amount of time, but not because we were rushed. I was very pleased that Dr. Wurzbacher spent adequate time with me answering questions. I was also pleasantly suprised that she encouraged me to consider a VBAC, which is something I had previously assumed I would have to fight for. This is a practice that is clearly not c-section happy, though she did tell me that if a c-section was most comfortable for me they would be happy to do that as well.\r \r The only experience I have had with this practice that I haven't been impressed with was a phone call question. I was exposed to Hepatitis A virus at a local restaurant and called For Women for advice. They were not able to make a recommendation to me and said that I needed to contact my PCP. I was not happy with this answer as I do not have a PCP (again, we have just moved here). I would have preferred if they told me if the Hep A vaccine is safe in pregnancy and if the benefits outweigh the risks rather than referring me to another doctor.\r \r Overall I would recommend this practice based on the single appointment I have had and am looking forward to a return visit in a few weeks. Pros: knowledgeable, good bedside manner more

Fantastic, I trust them completely! 5/7/2006

The doctors in this practice are an amazing group of women. I have been a patient through 1 high risk pregnancy & am currently in the 9th month of my 2nd pregnancy & I cannot recommend them enough. They usually are on time with their appointments, which is surprising considering the size of the practice, and never rush you as you ask questions or get advice (hence the usually comment). The nursing & billing staff are friendly & perform their jobs professionally & give you the sense that they enjoy their work environment. The nurses returning calls with questions are especially kind & compassionate, they have never made me feel like I was wasting their time no matter how silly I felt about calling. Overall, the best physicians practice I have ever had & one I wish all doctors would model! Pros: Great staff, Convenient locations more
