Horace Mann Middle School is the best middle school I have been to. The reason is because we have the best electives in all SDUSD. My favorite elective is GTT (Gateway to Technology). In GTT, we have the most advanced computers and mechanisms. If you are going to put your children in a middle school in San Diego, I would recommend Horace Mann Middle School. Mann Middle School not only provides netbooks, but it also provides Ipads. This school is AWSOME!!! :) more

I been going to this school about 3 years. This school has been a ride. I will be missing this school. The staff here are kind, friendly, and are very helpful when you are in need. millieptoez is full of sh*t, One can agree from her writing abilities, that she has never completed secondary school (but if she has, than our public schools have truly failed). HMMS is one of the best schools I've taught at (I've taught at both charter, and rich socioeconomic schools in the past). Sure there maybe some students who lack discipline, but many schools have to deal with that. The faculty is extraordinary, spending as much time needed to make sure everyone of their students succeed. If I had children, I would send them to this school in less than a heartbeat. more

Horace Mann middle school is the worse school in the city of San Diego County. I had heard bad things about the school but never in my wildest dreams would i believe it is worse than what i had heard. i have twins that attend school there one of them was assulted by staff and the other assulted by a student and she is the one being threatened to get out.
