Went to hope clinic two years ago, went through months of vision therapy, graduated after spending a few thousands. Happy both sides.
Called back for a review recently, told vision therapy regressed 50%, need more vision therapy. This time things have changed, therapy comes in prepaid packages instead of piece meals, with new software to buy.
Total price? A high resolution Sony video camera, a Canon 10 megapixel Rebel RTi SLR camera, a few good lenses, and a trip to Europe ($4000, more expensive than original treatment), prepaid in the front (no escape doors?). May need more sessions in coming years. Urged to start sessions ASAP.
Shocked. If regression could be such a problem, why not recommending earier and more periodic reviews to preventing expensive recalls?
Went to another doctor. Told the key is wearing glasses all the time, new glasses prescribed, to be checked after a few weeks. Vision therapy may or may NOT be needed. Sounds more reasonable?
