The SceneThis converted-house bar sits on a lonely stretch of the Cuyahoga River, halfway up the hill on Columbus Street. It's walls are lined with cheap but nostalgic posters from the city's past. The DrawThe view of downtown makes the journey to this joint well worth it. There's a super-sized lift bridge in the foreground and a colorful skyline to hold your gaze. It's a flattering snapshot of an industrial city. Local boy Joe Walsh and his classic-rock counterparts fill the jukebox, and anchoring the back corner is a vintage bowling machine. The crowd is distinctly blue-collar at happy hour. It's not fancy, but it's one of the last old-school bars along a lava-lamped river.
