Though I believe Honey Hut is overrated, it is still an excellent neighborhood ice cream place. Much of the time, it is filled with local Little League teams celebrating the win or enjoying the ice cream after a hard game. Parking can be difficult to find, at least at the Old Brooklyn location, as can a place to sit. The ice cream is good, but I think East Coast Custard is better. Apparently, Honey Hut uses real honey in their ice cream. They also have other treats besides plain ice cream, like milkshakes. A real treat if you are prepared for the wait and lack of places to sit.
