The SceneAs big as a Winebago, and seemingly filled with every local senior that drives one, the HTB is a non-descript food palace filled with a super serving of genuine hospitality. While we wouldn't recommend a daily pilgrimage to the deep trays of country cookin' (cholesterol, calories, non-Canola oils), it does make for a fun trip for the tykes. The restaurant relentlessly supports local youth teams, sponsors a birthday club, offers free meals to student achievers and provides balloons for community events, birthday parties, block parties and schools. Plus, where else can you find desserts and ice cream for diabetic children? The Food A large, well-maintained salad bar. A soup "island" with two daily selections and lots of rolls. Three stations of entr?e-type chow. (Whitefish, meatloaf, pasta and more.) Plus a hard-core dessert oasis that slings soft-serve, bread pudding, cookies and cake. Face it, these are the diners of the 21st century.
