Best

Place is a great spot to bring a group to: no cover, friendly staff, good ratio of girls to guys, quick as hell bartenders and cheap drinks. Great place to start your night, or me...

Worst

This is so hyped on hear that I can't believe some of the reviews. Just moved into the area..trying all the different local places. This is not a place to go. Very pretentious-rud...

Great party 8/27/2005

holiday. It started when you walked in cuz the door staff was friendly and funny. The drinks were strong and the bartenders were quick and friendly. The drink prices are the best. The music was pumpin and and the crowd was loving it. The Dj even took requests. The girls were hot and approachable. I was surprised the ratio was great for guys /girls. Will be back for another turn for sure more

You Get What You Pay For 8/14/2005

I went to The Holy Cow several weeks ago on a Friday night, and was finally able to get in after spending quite a while in line. The place was packed with people of all ethnicities, which added a very nice flavor to the place. Most of the people there seemed to be under 30 years old. The place was really crowded, and the ventilation system wasn't the best. There wasn't much room for people to do any real dance moves other than just staying close to each other, and the two "stages" for people to dance on were only a few feet wide, so even people who wanted to show off their moves were a bit restricted. The prices for the items there were very cheap, and there is never a cover for The Holy Cow. The Holy Cow truly embraces the phrase, "you get what you pay for." more

I was recently at The Holy Cow on a Thursday night before the 4th of July holiday. Will be back for another turn for sure. more

Editorial

  • In Short
Three sprawling rooms boast distinctive environments. In the main room, oversized vintage advertisements surround booths, a dance floor and massive bar that takes center stage. A side space offers a ski lodge-like chill area, complete with billiards and art-deco wall shapes that turn sci-fi under a blanket of back light; it's bridged by a mini-bar to a somewhat hidden lounge boasting grand banquettes, art-filled walls and life-sized diorama containing a knockoff of Michelangelo's "David."
