Hollywood Thai Restaurant

If you're expecting good service and quality Thai food, this place is NOT for you. This restaurant had the worst service I have ever experienced, and after reading these reviews, im not the only person who believes this. To be true I ordered two of the same dishes and one came out 20 minutes after each other. It is common that Thai dishes come out at different times and the cooks do not time the dishes like they do at American restaurants, but this was ridiculous. I brought this to the attention of the owner/manger, and she had the nerve to blame me. Her words were, ""look kid you don't have the right to complain because you ordered the food at different times"". This was obviously not true and regardless if it was or not, that is no way for a manager to speak to a paying customer, and that is exactly what I told her. She then fabricated a lie and said she looked into it and I was right, and she had fried her cook in the middle of dinner service for not making my food on time. Really? maybe i had ""im gullible"" written on my forehead. haha. On top of that, the boat noodle soup I had was the worst, ever. I can make it better from the package noodles you get at the store. This place is just always consistent in the quality of their food. They have a full Alcohol License till 2:00 am. I love the people there, so friendly. I first went there in 87. The present owners have been there for some 10 years now and in all that time I have not had to complain once. Recently they completely cleaned and repainted the Kitchen and they let me see it, real nice. Prier to that they completely redecorated the interior of the main dinning room and the restrooms. They have an A rating and every time I send people there they are always pleased I did. It’s averagely priced, cash or credit cards. No home deliveries. No ATM.\r After 2 am it really can get lively, one whole lot of fun. They have in-house singers on their small stage and you can Karaoke also. They open at 5:00 pm, not sure when they close but it's real late in the morning, recently I left at 4:45 am. I give it a A. \r Parking is Valet on the front or try to find street parking.\r \r Pros: never had a problem there. Cons: 1 only.Tables to close to each other for me. more
