I used to love Gourmet's Market for tasty food, for promptness of service & for the welcoming feeling it gave on every Sunday morning. But things have changed. While food still is ok, the rest of the ambiance and charm of old Gourmet's Market is gone. First, you are greeted (or not) by red faced, stressed out, disinterested & unhappy looking stuff (all without exception). Second, while there are plenty of table seats open you are told that the wait list is 30 minutes or more. Third, when you ask can you take my cell phone number to call when table ""opens up"" (even while there are plenty of open tables) the same red-faced stressed out stuff looks at you as you have asked for something preposterous. Forth, coffee tastes absolutely awful and the cream containers they serve with it (what a joke--""gourmet market??"") has pink residue on top of the cream. Bottom line, if you want a nice Sunday branch, go to Sequoyah Hills Grille--pleasant stuff, great selection of foods & even live soft jazz music.
